I wasn't aware there is an email version of NOA1. It should come it the mail. Sometimes it takes awhile. Sometimes people never receive the hard copy or so I've heard.

There aren't any real instructions but to wait now for NOA2. You can read the guides to see what comes next and the approximate times in between each step.

Some folks receive both the electronic NO1 notification and the hardcopy NO1 notification, some receive one or the other. It is really of little consequence, except that the petitioner receives the USCIS receipt number. That number is necessary to check online status of the I-129F petition.

The NOA2 is a different matter. The copy of the hardcopy NOA2 notification* will be necessary for processing later on in the immigration journey *(there are some exceptions, review AOS forum threads for details).

Good luck on your immigration journey.
