Happy Weds all. I went to the doctor for my accident injuries. He says I have some disc damage and need an MRI. Well that was a surprise. My back hurts but I figured it would end after some ice and stretching. Oh well. Nothing that won't heal iwth time I hope. My car is in for the repairs..they said up to two weeks to complete.

Otherwise, things are ok. Omar got his SSN on Monday so he's officially looking for work. Not an easy thing when you have no idea how to apply for a job/fill out an application.

I heard from Mrs. Forgetful. Sounds like she's having fun in Maroc.

What I did with Atif was to help him fill out some apps and then I got him to registar witha temp agency. Seems to work out ok...placed at 1st job--pd ok and he learned fiberglass, 2nd job not as well pay as 1st job and people were VERY redneck..job ended last Monday [said they'd to a call back-and they did] WEdnesday of last week place at Big company--MUCH better pay that either of the first 2 and is temp to hire. He really likes it and says that the day passes really quickly.

WIth the temp agency he's experienced the good and the bad of the types of people he could end up working for and has learned how to handle them too. I'm just hoping that he likes where he is and gets hired on FT. He's still looking for a welding position, but I think he may have to take the classes here in order to get the job...nobody willing to take a chance on him.

Jenn is likely to give us a citation for bumping Wednesday up before Thursday, but come on , Wednesday was a good day- all the food talk and Jen's NOA2.....where is Jenn this morning anyway? Maybe if we keep bumping this thread, it will draw her out?
