Hello everyone!

My husband and I are filing for his petition for the I-751. I have a few questions to make sure we fill out the form correctly.

Question 22, which asks if we've resided at any other address since he became a permanent residence. We have had one, one year lease and just started another, however our permanent address is still the same as when he became a resident. Do we still need to list the other two apartment addresses? Since our permanent address never changed we never did any updates for immigration since we still live there on and off and receive all of our mail there, etc. Is that going to be a problem?

If there's anything else I should keep an eye out for or be aware of please let me know.

Thanks for you help! It is really appreciated.

Also I would like to add that Our drivers licenses and credit reports show our permanent address and the only bill we have at our new temporary address is internet which is electronic.

I've recently been told since they're temporary addresses it should matter as log as the permanent address is the same... Please help.

Thanks!

Just because you sign a lease doesn't mean the address is temporary. Are you living there? Why don't you change your address to where you live? I'm really lost with this temporary thing and how you have a whole other address that you don't live at.

When I put temporary I didn't mean we don't live there anymore. In fact I said that we do in my initial question. We have a permanent address which we still reside at and then we have a lease for a place we rent which we stay at for work because work for me is three hours from our permanent address. We go back and forth between the two weekly. My husband works closer to our permanent address and I work closer to the apartment. That's why we never changed our address, because the apartment is temporary, and is not our permanent address. I had no reason to submit a request to change address because we can't get all our mail and everything at both places, so we left everything at our permanent residence, and like I said we are constantly between both places. Therefore I'm not sure what we should do about question 22. It's actually quite common for people to have several homes and apartments, but I always knew the permanent address was the most important to clarify, and I thought it only mattered if we permanently changed to another location that we mention it, but I just wanted to double check.

Thanks-
