Asked to send packet back to Islamabad Embassy

Hi everyone. I had my interview at Islamabad Embassy on Nov 5 and was approved(CR-1).Interview went smooth and I received my packet and passport a few days later.I plan to fly out on December 10. On December 3rd I received a call from Islamabad Embassy and they requested me to send my package(the sealed package I am to submit at my point of entry)back as some documents were missing and they had to add those to it.I told her that I am flying out on the 10th to which she put me on hold.She returned and told me to send it out today(3rd)and assured me id have it back before traveling on the 10th.As this phone call came the day after the San Bernardino attack im guessing it had something to do with that and am worried.I have searched this website and I have found no one with a similar story.Has this happened to anyone before and what was the reason?

April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

It happens sometime. So just stay relaxed and sent your packet ASAP. Same thing happened to my Uncle in October. He got back his packet in three working days. :)

06/24/2015 - Case Number and IIN assigned in NVC Welcome Letter

06/25/2015 - DS -261 Available and completed on the phone

07/04/2015 - Paid AOS Bill

07/07/2015 - AOS Bill "PAID" status

07/04/2015 - Paid IV Bill

07/07/2015 - IV Bill "PAID" status

07/09/2015 - DS-260 Completed online

07/17/2015 - AOS and IV Packages sent

07/21/2015 - AOS and IV Packages scanned at NVC

08/05/2015 - Case completed

08/14/2015 - Received Case Completed confirmation email

08/26/2015 - Interview Scheduled Date Confirmation over the Phone

08/28/2015 - Received Interview Scheduled confirmation email

09/29/2015 - Interview Date

09/04/2015 - NVC called to tell about cancellation of the interview date

09/10/2015 - Interview Rescheduled Date Confirmation

09/11/2015 - Received Interview Rescheduled confirmation email

10/20/2015 - Interview Date
