Some of you people are so rude and illiterate that I have to delete this topic. We should NOT blame anyone, COs the people or anyone. I hope good people get their visas and bad people are rejected.

I see that a lot of people do not talk about the petitioner an american citizen participated too in the shooting and was radicalized, so that means to me that the problem about terrorism it's inside of America too, it's not only about immigrants that follow the Islam religion. I guess we need see further before blame the CO or the authorities that granted to the wife the K-1 visa before they got married and granted her green card.

So here is my question, and I ask apologies in advance If somebody get offended (muslim or not): is it easy for american citizens that follow the Islam religion get radicalized so easy to the point to commit crimes against their american fellows? Because that's an scary thought not matter what.

It is so easy for a muslim woman have that influence over her husband or vice versa to commit that kind of crimes?

He shot and killed the same people he worked with everyday. The same people that gave him and his wife a baby shower. He was born and raised in America but could be radicalized so quickly??

I read the previous comments about rude and unhealthy conversation here. I haven't seen anything but people discussing their feelings and opinions which everyone has the right to do. If you feel angry or that you were treated unfairly you should be able to express that. Sometimes you don't feel like being healthy or polite. Sometimes you need to vent. I have the belief women are granted visas easier than men also.

I was like a criminal stopped by an Immigration Officer, with 2 kids. They didn´t found anything but they took me out as an "immigrant without an immigration visa"... I was so stupid... I could marry my boyfriend and be there, but we decided to apply for a K1 visa, but the officers finished our dream... Just because I wanted to be honest and I was coming back to plan it all... and don´t marry in America with a tourist visa...

Now what I see?

Lot´s of people who are criminals, terrorists getting there so easily...

Many people tells me: - Ah, don´t worry, you will be with your husband soon...

I know I will...

But it is taking so long, it is taking my health, his health, making my kids suffer...

And I´m obligated to turn on the TV and see these things...

I was in America with my tourist visa, never was illegally there... Than When I was comming back to plan my K1, they removed me.

They didn´t found anything that they could charge me at all... So they gave me a 5 year ban, because they said that I was too much in America, for too long... (but never illegally or doing something ilegal)... And... My plans went to the toilet with my boyfriend... I had to marry in a rush, because K1 visas with waivers can be rejected easily...

I had the option to marry while I was there, but we didn´t wanted... We said: - Oh, let´s be honest, they don´t like to see that...

Now... By myself, raising the kids and waiting... No family, no one with me...

Great, huh?

And... LOT´S of bad people and not honest people being approved and happily with their families there... I feel like s*it...

Do you condemn the shootings? I only ask because many from Pakistan have not, only sympathize. Just curious

English is not my first language so if you dont see the right words dont judge. Killing is simply unacceptable, no matter who is killed. This event is horrific and no matter how much we condemn, is less. Our Hearts and souls go to the dead. We have had massive shootings, last year 150 people, mostly children, were killed by terrorists. Having been through that, we understand the pain of getting to see people in your country die. CO does not do the background checks.

There are multiple agencies involved all of which failed spectacularly.

There seem to be a number of red flags in this case, none of which were picked up upon.

It would be reasonable to suppose there will be a major change in procedures, quite what they will be I doubt we will ever know.
