Hello

I paid my immigrant visa fee but Im planning to travel to the united states after 3 months from know ..

my first question is may that affect my IR1 visa not traveling until 2 months are left for it to expire?

second question

can I startctracking my green card now or im not able to recieve the reciept until I enter the united states?

NVC stage:

Scan date 24 nov

checklist for birth certificate:13.2.2015

expedite request: 1.3.2015

cc: 5.3.2015

interview date:11.4.2015

you have 6 months from date of medical exam to use the visa

your green card will not be applied for until you arrrive in US (@ POE they will take your packet and process for green card)
