I wwould be the first to say if someone told me what is happening to me was happening to them..I would say something sounds fishy or distorted of facts or my fiancee was pulling a fast one on me. But unfortunately , it is happening to me and everything with my fiancee and I is completely legit and truthful on my end.

Here is my latest update from my Senator. They have not received the CENOMAR that we sent 3 weeks ago directly from PSA to Embassy. To put any doubts that my fiancee actually sent it to rest, I have the receipt that she did sent it. So if you consider last week we needed to submit proof of Termination of Marriage..now that's not mentioned anymore in email I posted earlier of things we needed to do. Why do we not need it now? What changed if they have not received a CENOMAR AND we had not sent any documents to prove she was not married or terminated the marriage.

Seccond, my fiancee got her NBI clearance last June 2015. Why do they need one now? It's good for a year? And if it did expire in October..why wasn't it listed in our 221 we got saying we needed to get the termination letter? This is the first we have heard about it and we have been working with the embassy constantly for last 6 months. Shouldn't of they said something in October that it expired?

The medical I am not trying to be picky on..but it is wrong they said expired on the 1st when it's the 15th (I know because we received email escalating our case because it expires on 12/15). I know I need to get a new medical anyway..but it's the misinformation that bugs me.

I know you guys are saying just do as the ask and be done..but now it seems we have to submit another CENOMAR again..this will be number 5. Our list keeps getting longer and longer and when we do something..the embassy does not get it.

Please look at this not like it's fishy or not legit and help me come up with some options I have it someone I can email higher up than my senator. Like I said, this is real and if needed I will email anyone what I have to prove this is true.

Do you know how to check the source code for an email, it is a way to see if someone is spoofing the email address, making it look like it was sent from the embassy and also spoofing the reply email. Just a thought

Jayjensen,

You have truly entered the Twilight Zone! I have all of the same questions that you raised in your latest post. I know the Embassy makes mistakes. As a matter of fact, they "misplaced" some of our documents. But this is ridiculous! While you are checking to find out if you were spoofed, you seem to have no other choice than to continue to fulfill their endless requirements. If it's any small consolation, think about how sweet it will be once the visa is finally delivered (and what a relief it will be). Hang in there...

Like Tahoma said - do send everything requested to the embassy THROUGH 2GO with a copy of that email (make sure your MNL # is on it)

To check the source code can be different with each email program, normally you right click on the senders email address and a small window opens, in the list of choice is source code. What opens up from there is gobbly-goop for the most part, but what you are search for is email addresses that show it is from the embassy and not that shifts the embassy email to another email. For now I would not reply using that email, I would type the embassy email in a new email, then copy/paste the body of that email into the new email... that will remove the chance of sending an email to a spoofer.

Hi i've been reading the topic here and i just wanna ask something. I had my interview 2 weeks ago and i got 221g, i was able to send the documents they asked from us the next day after my interview. Idk if its just me being paranoid but i feel like i didn't send enough documents and i want to send more. Is it ok to send additional documents even if they're not asking?

Maybe you are being paranoid, maybe, but if you have additional documents that the embassy requested, then print a copy of the 221g email, bring that and the additional documents to 2GO and they will deliver them to the embassy.

Would that be ok to send additional documents even if they already have the documents i sent two weeks ago?

You sent the same documents two weeks ago through 2GO? Then no just be patient, it takes time to get those documents processed and your visa application reviewed again.

There is no harm in sending them, it may slow down things as the case file will have to have those documents added, then reviewed an additional time. But if you feel the documents are helpful, then send them
