You mean you have sent the required documents to the embassy?

Have you sent a follow up email to the consulate? Do they have your passport at the moment?

Have you checked your status on CEAC website?

There is no telling how long AP would last. Could be couple of weeks, my personal experience it was couple of weeks for me. Some even years depending on the case.

You need to be proactive and start emailing the consulate for updates. Hope this helps
