I am a US citizen living in Los Angeles and my wife who is Filipina living and working Singapore.

Now on Line #22 "your relatives is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in"

What do i enter on this question?

You said your wife is in Singapore, the question is N/A to you.

You would only fill that out if your wife already reside in the United States

OP,

The first two answers in this thread are incorrect. Albeit worded poorly, question #22 is a two part question and the proper way to answer it when a visa is being sought is to indicate the country and city where the visa interview is to take place on the right two lines of that question. The left two lines can be ignored.

Well, I do know on mine with my husband is in Jamaica and I am here in the United States and a born and raised US and when I filed out my I130 I put N/A for all three and it was APPROVED

Even though answering in that manner is a common mistake that is routinely overlooked, it is still not a proper answer.

The way we interpreted it was not so much that it's poorly worded, but rather poorly formatted & laid out on the page so we filled it out the way Ryan suggests it should be filled out (and were also approved).

Whatever, you shouldn't leave any questions unanswered. You either answer 'none' or 'N/A' (not applicable) for every question that you don't have another answer for. You shouldn't just ignore questions . . . best practice says to answer every question. I figured this out by reading USCIS instructions for how to make an application packet, and also from looking over the example forms in the guides section of the forum. I think that is where they are.

The question itself states, in bold (above the further explanation that you have quoted in your original post):

"Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status."

Is your relative is in the United States? (yes or no)

Will your relative apply for adjustment of status? (yes or no)

If you can't answer yes to BOTH of these questions, question #22 is not applicable to you.

*Personally, my husband is living and working in Nigeria and I am a USC living and working in Idaho; I wrote NA in response to every blank for question #22 and our petition was approved recently without issue.

Sounds like you already have a variety of answers to choose from above (and to be honest I'm kind of only posting my 2 cents to see how my signature shows up because I just updated it ), but I wish you the best of luck. I use VisaJourney as a great resource, but in the end I suggest you read all the instructions on the official forms and websites very carefully and follow them the best you can. I've seen a lot of advice on VJ that I personally wouldn't follow.
