Five Days in May by Blue Rodeo

Perfect Day by Lou Reed

I love LOVE LOOOOOOVE Blue Rodeo! Was at the Old Port in Montreal for Canada Day celebrations 4 or 5 years ago (maybe 6) and they gave a free concert! I was 3 feet away from them! They played ALL their hits, it was an awesome concert!

I also love Blue Rodeo!!!!! We were just saying yesterday at work how they are such a great band that will sadly never be widely popular in the US! Its a shame - I've been a fan since1992! Love em, love em!!

Love me tender - Elvis A classic, he just had a way of connecting with that perfect pitch.

You really got me- The Kinks, not so romantic, but we always heard this one at particular moments.

"At Last" Etta James

Yup! I second that!

It was our wedding song. (L)

BelwinMills...was it your wedding song too?

Bcause ironically...Rick and I were married on August 8th as well. In 2003.

I have a new favorite love song.

Or a newly revived one in my collection! I think our wedding band is going to learn it for us.

It is 'Steady as We Go' By Dave Matthews

Here are the lyrics. I think they fit!

I'll walk halfway around the world

Just to sit down by your side

And I would do most anything, girl

To be the apple of your eye

Well troubles, they may come and go

But good times, they're the gold

And if the road gets rocky, girl

Just steady as we go

Any place you wanna go

Know I'll be next to you

If it's treasure, baby, you're looking for

I'll search the whole world through

I know troubles, they may come and go

But good times, they're the gold

So if the road gets rocky, girl

Just steady as we go

When the storm comes down you shelter me

When I don't say a word and you know exactly what i mean

In the darkest times, oh, you shine on me

You set me free and keep me steady as we go

So if your heart wrings dry, my love

I will fill your cup

And if your load gets heavy, girl

I will lift you up

Well troubles, they may come and go

But good times be the gold

So if the road gets rocky, girl

Just steady as we go

Oh, I need to change my vote!

Gulf Coast Highway - Nanci Griffith

always makes me cry....

awesome song!
