although i've said multiple times i'm not for rounding up all the guns in america, he believes i'm being hypocritical and comparing the rounding up of guns in america to the rounding up of human beings in america. why should we demonize an inanimate object when there are living breathing people we can stereotype and blame instead?

thanks marv. it's crazy that we have so many muslims in this country (omg they're everywhere ) and yet terrorist attacks aren't the norm. it's almost like there's a political force working in conjunction with like minded media to scare up as many americans as possible to support their cause. be afraid of all the guns in this country? never, obviously harmless. but muslims? well now. just keep your eyes on them. we'll have a method in place for tracking them soon.

That's my take on it as well. We have no issues rounding them up, deporting them, not admitting them into the country, denying them religious freedom, and in some cases implementing our own "Final Solution", but they are responsible for the LEAST amount of death in this country no question in comparison to gun violence. But we'll keep the guns and remove the Muslims. Because that makes perfect sense.

omg. how many times can i say that I DO KNOW THAT. there are guns, here at my work, RIGHT NOW - for after work when the guys go hunting. most of my extended family own guns and have cc permits. i know i am around guns and cc all the time.

Give them time, just working up. Certainly if you look elsewhere I feel comfortable that they will catch up.

But you're all about getting rid of them, yet keeping guns that already take thousands of lives every year. So, you're saying let's stop them before they get started, but keep the guns in play, since they're clearly the innocent victims.

In order to catch up there would need to be a terrorist attack on American soil every single day for years that claimed at least 5 people a day. We're already in the 6 figure range, and that number increases every single day. At the end of 2015 there's been about 25 people killed by terrorist attacks. That's the worse since 9/11 14 years ago. We're about 12000 deep when it comes to gun deaths. Why are you so afraid of Muslims?

As do peaceful, law abiding Muslims, I would even wager some of them are responsible citizens with concealed carry permits.
