Is a copy of your marriage certificate needed in your ROC packet?

this is what we have:

  • Copies of the passport and green card of beneficary
  • Copies of both of our Driver's Licenses showing the same address.
  • Copy of my 2014 US income tax transcript return filed as “married”
  • Copy of beneficiary Canadian 2014 tax return to Revenue Canada showing resident as USA and filed as married to US resident.
  • Copy of beneficiary 2013 Assessment Notice from Revenue Canada for her 2013 tax return mailed to our home in Kentucky, listing her as “international tax center”.
  • Copy of the deed to our jointly owned home
  • Copies of our house insurance policy showing joint ownership 2013-2015
  • Copies of the insurance policy of our car and truck, showing joint ownership 2013-2015
  • Copy of our health insurance coverage with beneficiary listed as on the plan
  • Copies of bank statements showing a joint account
  • Copies of (gas) bill showing joint account on household utilities.
  • A copy of our airline reservations for a family vacation with my son that we took in June 2014
  • A copy of a hotel bookings from family vacations
  • Family photos from various family vacations and events 2013-2015

Anything missing?

03/04/2014- Used Advance Parole document to re-enter after a visit to Canada (without any issues)!

03/09/2014- checked USCIS website and saw update saying "Card/Document production" for I-485

03/13/2014-AOS approved. Received Welcome Letter (i-797)

03/17/2014-Green Card arrived in the mail

3/9/2017- Rec'd approval letter in mail. 

3/21/2017- Text and emails stating card was mailed out

3/24/2017- Rec'd Greencard in the mail

Is a copy of your marriage certificate needed in your ROC packet? No, it is not part of the ROC process.

this is what we have:

  • Copies of the passport (not part of the ROC process) and green card of beneficary
