Health insurance options

I am in US on a K1 visa and about to submit the adjustment of status packet. We got married 2 weeks ago. My husband is on medicaid and I was wondering what can be a cheaper health insurance option for me in WV.

Yes, you apply on your own

You probably need to file for AOS first to get the notice of action (I-797)

Not sure about tax info, probably based on your annual household income or when you filed taxes as married couple jointly.

We will be filing the taxes as a married couple in March 2016 I think. I will get the AOS packet in mail ASAP.

I am not sure.. but why don't you try for Medicaid?

Immigrants are not normally permitted to apply for Medicaid for five years. If he did receive it the sponsor could be sued by the government to repay all the medical costs. Look at the I-864.
