10/26/12 - Sent N-400 packet to Phoenix lockbox via USPS mail w/Certified Delivery, received 10/29/12, check cashed 11/02/12

11/05/12 - NOA-1 received, notice date 10/31/2012, received and priority date 10/29/2012

11/09/12 - Biometrics notice received, biometrics appointment date 11/19/12

11/21/12 - In line for interview scheduling (letter received via USPS mail 12/17/12)

01/16/13 - N-400 interview/testing - APPROVED! Oath ceremony letter received late Jan. 2013

02/26/13 - OATH CEREMONY COMPLETED - NATURALIZED US CITIZEN!

06/28/08 - Sent 751 packet to CSC via USPS Priority Mail (signature required)

Our age difference was the main reason I tried not to start a relationship with him. I had just turned 23 and he had just turned 18. I felt despicable and lied to everyone about his age.

After 6.5 years together, I don't even notice it. I actually had to do the math to figure out how old he is now.

Hi Everyone,

Good luck on your immigration journeys! What an interesting message thread questions, indeed! In answer to the message thread, my answer is:

I am (insert my biological age here) and my husband is seventeen years older than I am (insert his biological age here).

Oddly enough though, my husband and I both look younger than our biological ages, so nobody really believes that we are the biological ages that we say that we are and/or that is written on our birth certificates, driver's licenses or on any other IDs...lol....

Nevertheless, we get along quite well and in all ways, despite our biological age differences, and we have a lot of things in common in most aspects of our lives too.

After all, age is just a number, right? For we can all, "be young at heart", or "be old and filled with wisdom" both at the same time. A person is as young or as old as they think and feel that they are in life, right?

2004: I-130 approved!
6/05: Filed AOS/EAD
7/2/05: Rec'd receipt for I-485
8/05: Rec'd RFE for Biometrics
9/9/05: Rec'd RFE for medical
12/2/06: EAD APPROVED!
12/5/06: EAD card rec'd
1/15/06: AOS interview date for 4/11/06 at 11:00 a.m.
4/11/06: APPROVED!!!!!! NO MORE USCIS FOR 10 YEARS!!! WOOHOO!!! 2016...seems more like a page # than a year. Haha.
