Just a hunch but, given that the center provides services for developmentally disabled children and adults, I think that we will not find three shooters in body armor but rather one developmentally disabled adult who was not grounded mentally and a grudge to bear. We will then hear the press for background checks, which California already has but, anyone who wants a gun can get one. All the people on probation or parole that commit gun crimes would not pass a background check.

Nah, more like more gun control and then we'll take a stroll to whatever neighborhood which has the highest body count this week.

Nothing will ever get done until this country gets its head out of its rear end and see that you need more than one solution to this problem.

I'm on the other side of town but the SB guys are still on the run. Even with our horrible traffic it doesn't take too long to get from there to LA. I was in a mall shooting a couple of years back in West LA and it spooked me for quite a while.

Reports now seem to confirm 3 shooters so I stand corrected. One shot dead, one wounded but still in an SUV and the third got away. Still, hard to believe this soft target would have been selected. I have thought for years Vegas would be high on the list.

A lot of unconfirmed rumours flying about. Especially regarding the names of the individuals and the motivation and what was found. That's the sticking point to me. If they are the persons being mentioned, I understand the need for soft targets, but this one in particular had no significance that they would surely want for an impact. On the other hand, nor does the concept of some sort of 'dispute' where a guy yells and then goes and gets his buddies. Lone wolf inspired by something, sure maybe. But it's the target that is a puzzle.

I'm just thinking about within the US at the moment. The majority of such attacks are normally men. On the international level, I guess its more common.
