Residence address in B1/B2 visa form

i want to know if is it necessary to go to the address/city that is mentioned by us in b1/b2 visa form after arrival at USA, or we can go anywhere in USA. Will immigration officer inquires about why one is going to different city ??

Not necessarily, since most B2 visas are multiple entry, and you don't need concrete travel plans to apply for one.

They may ask you why you're not going to that address. As long as your travel plans make sense, I see no problems.
