I've got an update today: On April 4, 2016, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXX. We mailed your card to the address you gave us. The tracking number assigned is UNAVAILABLE. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you did not receive the card, please go towww.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

But we don't need EAD and AP anymore since greencard been produced and will be sending to us right? :P

I guess the mail will reach today or tmr for me

I think I might be the only December filer with neither EAD nor GC at this point. I reached out to my congressman, the ombudsman and uscis though an infopass. The Ombudsman reached out to uscis on my behalf, so fingers crossed. The wait and uncertainty are starting to get to me.

Hi we wont actually file the AOS for a few weeks (sorry for crashing your thread)

but I'd like to know what proof we will get that we have in fact filed the AOS within 90 days? Should he carry around the NOA 1 with his passport and visa?

Also how time consuming is it to get this packet together? Does a week seem about right if he already has the marriage certificate and SS number?

I am wondering if you are the last one too. This really sucks that you had to go this long and had to put in so much effort when you filed and paid along with us. It's ridiculous! I hope you bring us good news soon!

Well, well, well, is that you, Jess??

You will get an NOA to prove that you AOS'd, but the requirement is that you MARRY within 90 days, not AOS within 90 days. You don't necessarily need to carry the NOA, as it's only proof that you applied for permanent residency.

I think a week is a reasonable time to be able to assemble everything for AOS. Make sure you print the latest affidavit of support form. I think we spent more time on the support documents than anything else because I included an analysis of health insurance and proof that he's under my policy now. In reality, you really aren't required to provide proof of relationship during AOS, but you do for ROC.

I never had a tracking number even previously. Mine always appear as shown on the USCIS case status, even for any other NOAs, maybe its because of the apartment I'm staying in, but when its been delivered, USCIS website will show that the mail has been delivered and picked up. Similar to when I order stuffs online like sephora etc, it never alert me but they alerted my husband which is so weird because I've never used his account, card, email nor any details of his. It just goes to his email. I wonder if it is because his name is registered in USPS and I have to include mine in USPS or something?

On April 4, 2016, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXX.

That's what I've got from USCIS case status. But I believe its coming tomorrow or by this week, I think urs will to TandL.
