I had my Greencard approved on the 17th (hasn't arrived yet but was mailed yesterday) but also just a message saying my EAD has been approved is being produced.

I'm guessing this is a case of two departments not talking to each other as I won't need my EAD as my green card will arrive first?

Did you get a tracking number for your GC? I'm wondering if our status will change to include the tracking number before it's deliver this time? His EAD status gave the tracking number after it was in the mailbox...

My GC was mailed Friday. Had a tracking number. USPS says it was delivered yesterday at 7pm but it wasn't. Pretty upset. Hope the guy was just lazy yesterday and confirmed all his delivery last night thinking he would finish it today. Hopefully I'll get it later today. It's still a little nerve racking......

I know what you mean. My brother-in-law has been in the US for six months and he's still waiting on his GC. His baby's GC was mailed to the same address that all the other family member's GC was mailed to, but it was returned 'undeliverable'. That was last month. I sure that doesn't happen to anyone here. We put in a service request for my nephew-in-law (is that a term?) GC a week ago, but it's going to take some time to dig it out of the pile of returned GC's. It's a little scary - I hope yours arrives soon, but I would highly suggest you visit your local USPS site tomorrow and inquire. You don't want a situation where the USCIS claims you received it when you didn't. It's a scary thought to think that your card is in someone else's box. The USPS may need to track it down for you, but they can at least log a claim on that tracking number for you. Please act soon!

No, I didn't get any tracking number for the GC, it just says it was mailed. I had the same thing with my AP and it arrived fine though (I applied for EAD and AP separately).

I'm a little concerned about people having their GCs returned or missing now though!

I did get a tracking number tonight and my status has changed to include it. Hopefully yours will too.

Congratulations! Good things!!

So it seems that today marks a change in estimate for the EAD/AP petitions moving onto the January 2016 filers. We might take two more weeks to clear everyone to card status, and we have neoblast waiting for their unattended service request (AAHHHHH!!!). Anyone else waiting for a card? If so, when is your NOA date/filed date? I'm just wondering who of us is still waiting?

I am sorry you feel left out. That's not good. Many questions we just don't know the answer to. You're interview is scheduled, so your EAD may be on hold since your local officer will probably grant your GC that day. I don't think anyone can explain why some EAD's get held up. The USCIS doesn't work in a consistent manner; some people that filed November are still waiting for their case status to change that their response to their RFE in December was received! Don't worry, TandL, you are in a pretty good situation!

Someone mentioned this before but it does seem like whoever is doing the EAD/AP approvals are not in sync with whoever is doing th AOS approvals...they're probably not talking to each other! :) I didn't get any updates at all about mine until I last week when I got notice I was approved and received my green card in the mail. Then last night my status for EAD and AP were both terminated, most likely because I already have my GC.

Like Amhara mentioned, I think as long as you have an interview scheduled then you are good. Good luck TandL and keep us posted :)
