I would file a service request for your EAD as you've gone way beyond the 75 day 'approaching regulatory time frame' point. Might get some action on your EAD.

Looks like you and me have similar timelines.. I had my bio metrics on Jan 26th at Chula Vista..

Did your case got an update on USCIS website that it's ready for interview yet?

Mine was on the 28th of January, and I haven;'t had any updates for any of my cases. My 1-485 still says fingerprint fee is received.

I was actually surprised that my biometrics were in Chula Vista instead of San Diego.

So I received a text earlier that my EAD had been mailed to me (Yay) :dancing:

However, about 30 minutes later I got an update on the case tracker app, saying that my Greencard was "Approved", then followed the email saying the same thing!

Does this mean I don't require an interview for the Greencard??

Thanks everyone. Having you guys to talk to has been - and shall continue to be - a huge help! There was much hugging with the husband this morning. ^^

Going to go look at some cars today and over the weekend and then, once the I-797 approval notice turns up, I can go to the DMV and get my learner's permit renewed and take the behind the wheel test. Yay for progress.

Hi Guys,

I don't post much in the thread but I do follow it quite constantly! I have even been familiar with all of your stories and I'm glad, for a lot of us, everything is starting to work.

So today, I received like 5 USCIS e-mails, hoping that it wasn't an RFE (My priority date is Dec. 31st.), I opened it and voila! Good news, they have schedule me for an interview! April 7th. I come from a F-1 visa, so I was expecting the interview. Now I'm happy, because finally we're making some progress.

I hope EAD comes fast enough, because I just can't stand being on the house without working any longer. Any experiences on how long did it take to have the EAD after your interview was scheduled?

It seems that an RFE for the EAD/AP is rather rare. Mostly, cases seem to get an RFE for the GC, and then their EAD/AP can move forward. I can't estimate when we should estimate when we might hear back on our EAD/AP. I think I won't try to think about it until after his name change. Maybe it will be approved by then? Maybe after? Probably after...

We are headed to the DMV tomorrow afternoon to hopefully get Josh his Drivers License!

Then he has his first American job interview on Monday!! :dancing:
