Got an email from NBC this morning saying that they had received my 'Approaching Regulatory Time Frame' service request but no further actions seem to have been taken yet. Cases still not touched since December. I didn't get an SR number - maybe I should have used the online form instead of calling in. D'oh!

The only consistent thing about this process is how it makes you second guess yourself. It's torture ?. Hopefully all the movement for a lot of us today means that's your approval is imminent as well. And just to try and reassure you, i phoned them rather than doing it online.

My fingers and toes are crossed for you bariki ?

Still no texts or emails, but the notification from the case tracker app came approx 10 mins ago.

Congrats to everyone approved today! Wow! What a floodgate! It's wonderful!

Ausa, do you have your notifications turned on in myUSCIS? Even though we mail the e-notification form, that's just for getting the case number texted/emailed. Then we need to turn on electronic notifications inn myUSCIS after that.

My husband and I were running all around today to re-send the fingerprints, forms and money order for his name change. It has been so frustrating! We went to court on February 4th and immediately started working with someone with the Department of Public Safety to ask about running the reports again since they were at fault. Well, after 21 days of "my supervisor will let me know and I will call you back", we are just formally asking for the report - this time with a strongly worded letter!

Last time it took them two weeks to start the process (two weeks of holidays) and two weeks for them to get and send the reports to the family court. Hopefully it will be a little bit faster this time, sans holidays?

Keep the good news rollin' in December filers!

Ooohh, I'll have to check. So we got the NOA1 notifications on email and text, but I don't remember making the other change you mention. Perhaps I'll need to eat humble pie...just a slice though hehehe

Lol! No, but it's good that you have been checking your status! When you log in (not just entering the case numbers) you need to switch the email and text notifications to "Y". For some reason, they all default to "N". One would think that's the purpose of the e-notification form, right?

Lol! Thanks! We could have been done in 53 days, but a state employee but my last name as his first name; go figure. After this, then I can change MY name! But I will need his name change and our marriage certificate to do so. All this is making me wonder if I should, but we are going to make a trip to all the same departments (SSN, DMV) anyways, so might as well?

my EAD case changed to "New card is being produced" yesterday. No updates on AP.

This morning both my EAD and AP status say "Case was approved"

Does that mean the card was produced ? or this is an independent notification?

I'm pretty sure it is yes. My EAD was card produced yesterday, AP approved and now EAD is approved. But in the list of actions a new card was ordered. My USCIS is anything if consistent and logical. It should change to card mailed I think from what I've read of others and it should be with you within the week. Congrats!

Congrats everybody!

Seeing all you guys updates I went and checked mine too (I usually only log in on Saturdays, to keep the mental stress to a minimum) and EAD says "Approved on February 23, 2016" and that they will email the approval notice etc. Nothing about Cards being produced, but looking at everybody there is little consistency.

No action on AP or I-485.

Tuesday was day 71 for me (counting from the day I got the text NOA1s - 76 days counting from the received date that I get on my case status).

yay!
