December 2015 AOS filer status

Got an RFIE on the i-485 today. We have no idea what it could be. Feeling so dejected right now. On day 57 as well!!

We are now in the same boat. We got an RFIE for our EAD/AP!!!! No!!!!! We could have been approved today!!!! Dang!!!!!!!

Now we will need to wait for that stupid forever letter. Our GC status hasn't change (yet) so maybe it's something simple with the EAD/AP. We didn't sent biographical forms for just those two initially, so we mailed the forms a few days after we got the NOA's. Hopefully it's not for that because they should already have that. Gosh, maybe something with the name? I don't know...we will just have to wait and see...

I filed in the beginning of December and now my wife's EAD card is in production as of today. w00t!

This, however, is great news. At least one of us got some forward momentum today.

Still radio silence for us at day 72. Think I'll just be happy with that..

I suppose, just sucks that it went this way and not the other way. The next week is going to be me frantically wracking my brains trying to figure out what I missed out or did wrong Just hoping that it doesn't delay our EAD/APs too much!!

That sucks guys, but I've been keeping an eye on a few cases that all have the same received date as mine on myCaseStatus and quite a few have been approved today...I'm thinking the next two weeks are going to be busy. Hopefully ?

Yeah! N and S have been waiting for over a week! Hopefully they get the letter tonight or tomorrow! So that means not even thinking about it until after the 23rd!

What a mixed bag we have here today. Some overjoyed, some frustrated. Much like this entire process.

I still think receiving an RFIE/RFE at this stage in proceedings is totally wrong. Making you wait this entire time then get hit with a set back like that.

Still anxiously waiting here, day 67 since NOA date. I guess next week I can clang a few bells or something to try to stimulate some kind of action on my cases. Like others here, if I get an RFE/RFIE after this long waiting I'll be really mad, especially with a friends wedding in March that I'm booked to go back for (won't be leaving without my AP, however!)

Congrats to those with approvals, good luck to those of you with a bit longer to wait. Is there a particular time of day the updates on cases roll in via the USCIS website?

I got the text at about 2:30 this afternoon, Amhara seemed to get their's a little earlier. When I got my NOA texts it was after 7pm... there seems to be no rhyme or reason, which is characteristic of the whole process really.

Congrats to those who have something to celebrate! Here's to hoping we're the last of the RFEs!!

My spouse received the NOA2 in the mail today for the approval of the I-765 / EAD. Hopefully the actual card will arrive soon!

Sorry to hear about the late RFIEs, that's very unfortunate, but it's only temporary! Your cases are still being worked. We got an RFIE and still got the EAD.
