My appt was at 11:00AM, got there 10:50 and walked out at 11:00!

there was nobody there, who done my fingerprints was so kind!

took me longer to get there than what I actually needed to be in there lol

drove with my hubby for 1:15hs and had to drive back..

Now gotta go for my DL! Anybody knows how much is it? and if it is the same process or can I just exchange my international DL?

good vibes for everyone! :goofy:

Hello, Everyone

I paid AOS fee on 01/15/2016, and still waiting for Payment to get paid. My Question is that would it be okay to fill out the AOS Form Now or wait until after March?

If I send out my AOS to NVC now, they not going to ask for it again or will they ask for it to do it again?

The AOS you are referring to for a spousal visa is 'affidavit of support'. The AOS this thread is for is 'adjustment of status'. We are people that are eligible to petition for US permanent residency based on family relationships and are already in the US. You are looking for a different forum, bluesky.

Hello everyone,

My AOS/EAD/AP was received on Dec.18
I received NoAs on Dec.22
I was not able to check the status online until a week ago. It says the fingerprint fee was received and a letter was sent on Jan 11.

No biometrics letter so far.

I was wondering if that letter was the biometrics ?

Anyone in a similar situation?

Mena28, thank you for this link! Really, really thank you!

Welcome :-)

Thank you very much for this information!! So you think it is better to walk in first thing in the morning?

You are very welcome! I don't know, as I have no clue about Pittsburgh, but my own reasoning was that I had all day to try, so why not walk in in the morning and if I have to wait around it is fine, as long as they have time for me some time during the day it was going to be ok :-) Boston was actually very busy, there were about 40 other people also waiting there for various things. Give it a shot, I will cross my fingers for you!

no the statust said a letter was sent on 11th.

I haven't received anything since the NOAs.

Natalia might have referred to your NOA you got - make sure you read it closely. My NOA for this was also my biometrics letter, all info on one page, not four :-)

Sometimes the NOA1 already had the bio apt on it, sometimes they send you a separate letter. If there is no bio apt on your NOA1 then the bio apt should come in the mail as well soon.

It's not unheard of, but it's not super common. I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as it gets there it's all good :D

Yes. We are in the same situation. Actually the exact same situation. Our status says the fingerprint fee was received on the 11th. Our status doesn't say a letter was sent out, but a USCIS rep told us that we should be receiving a letter any day now. Hopefully...

Finally received the letter for our RFE today!! Thank god it is only some simple things. We need to resubmit a page from my affidavit of support. We messed up one number on the sheet, so only need resubmit one page on that. And then we have a co-sponsor and need to resubmit birth certificate or biographical page from passport. (The original we sent was bad on ink so I can understand resending this.)

We've printed everything and will send it all off tomorrow - hopefully PRAYING that this doesn't delay Josh getting his EAD/AP too much.

I called USCIS yesterday to check if there's any problem with the biometrics appointment letter. I told them it's been a month since my case was received. They gathered some information from me and gave me a referance number. They told me that I should expect a call from Dallas office about my biometrics appointment letter. (Dallas is where we live).

This morning, I woke up and checked the case status , it says " Request for Initial Evidence was Mailed".

Has anyone received this after NOA1 and before biometrics taken?
