How long are AOS averaging now? From NOA1 to Green Card in hand...

When should we expect our spouse to receive theirs? I do understand it depends where you are in the country, but what are some averages?

I got my learner's permit a few weeks ago and it is valid for two years. Now I just have to wait for January to come around so i can take my road test, the wait time for that was like 6 weeks (because of no earlier appointments).

That is in MASSACHUSETTS though and I know it is based on the state - but it was hard for me to find out info about MA rules, so maybe this is helpful to someone else :-)

Apparently here it is fine if you can just prove residence, date of birth and signature and they have a gazillion options for each (I used my marriage certificate, passport and Social Security Card - I got that updated the week after we got married).

They say that people at the RMV are not responsible to make decisions about whether or not somebody is here legally or illegally. They did ask me to explain why the K-1 was invalidated (the CBP officer drew a line through it after entry), looked at my 1-94, so I just answered where appropriate and that was that.

AOS: NOA1 to Green Card Approval - 3 MONTHS, 16 DAYS

I think averages are impossible to determine. The AP and EAD are typically issued before 75 days, but the GC is much harder to determine. However, I have been following the October 2015 AOS filer thread and there has been a great majority of people getting their GC approved! They have been approved without an interview and before the EAD and AP were touched! I am hoping our thread gets a bunch of approvals in February! That would be awesome! Really, issuing the GC earlier saves the government (and thus - us) money. You don't spend time processing two or three different cards and when some people had been waiting a year after an NPIW, that's just a misuse of time!

We are on our 10th day without being able to pull up our case on USCIS. No action on the two apps I downloaded. No help on the USCIS automated phone system. Even when we called and spoke with someone yesterday, that person couldn't see our case! We will mail information about his name change and the two sets of photos for the EAD and AP this Saturday. Hopefully, that will jar a little bit of action and at least let us see the case online? Otherwise, we will work this thing like it's 1999! :joy:

Hello everyone!! Sorry that been disappeared.. Between Christmas preparing and the holidays been kinda busy!

but came to share my happiness that I received my 3 NOA1 text messages yesterday! Was worried because either the email or the txts said for "I-765" but three case numbers... But, Nope! got them!! best New Year present that I could ever had!! Waiting very excited about the actual letters now!!

Does it come with the biometrics appt on the letter? or do I get notified afterwards?

Hope everyone have a very happy new year!!

We got our NOA1 but the status isn't showing in the USCIS website. I called and they said it could be up to 45 days until we can check on the status electronically. :wow:

It usually takes around 3-4 days until get into the system.. but it happened to me when I was waiting for the approval of the K-1 that been some "unknown issues" and took from 20 of april up to 11 of June to be fixed, then I got approved on the 12th.. pretty much you "can't do anything about it"... SMH
