December 2015 AOS filer status

Woah super fast again!! NOA1 hard copies in the mail, I got my texts only 3 days ago o.o I hope things continue to go this fast. They received my case 1 week ago..

Just checked my case and it was updated to "Fingerprint Fee was received" for the I-485. (EAD & AP just say "Case Recieved")

What did it say before fingerprint fee was received? Mine has always said that for i485

Our file was received on last monday and no activity since then.

We thought they would cash out our check soon! No change in our bank account yet!!?

Weird. My guess is that you're going to get your hard copys soon or maybe our biometrics soon!

Sending ours tomorrow! Just put it all together (need to get four(!) more photos tomorrow morning but otherwise completely ready), excited to get it out of my house and start this super frustrating process all over again!

Trust me, I know that feeling!! CVS are having this 2 usd off for pictures that you can print out or save it on your phone,,, but by the time I got there it was closed and I went to Walgreens... My heart bleed when I heard "42 dollars" for six pictures... SIX!!! 7 dollars each...

Thank you all, it was a HUGE relief sending off the package,oh and the cost of those passport pictures, yup i felt the pain too.

I called USCIS thinking maybe we have a case number somewhere in their system, but no such luck. Today is our 13th calendar day, or 9th business day, after they received the package and they couldn't pull up anything on his A-number.

At least I have my husband here with me; he cheers me up when I am feeling down about our case. He always did that when he was over in Afg, but now having him here makes the wait so much better. A March 2015 filer filed their AOS in October and they didn't get any AOS until 11 days after their case was received. But now they have their GC on their way to them! While I think our case will have some more bumps than they did, a late NOA does not necessarily mean anything negative!

I definitely felt the same way about getting new pictures! But It only cost me 28, and that was at a photography store, whom I trust a lot more than getting it at CVS or Walgreens! I dont' want to think about how much I've spent on passport pictures since April.

At least it's Christmas and New Years soon so I'm sure we'll all be too busy to think about it for a little while. I"m sure everything will happen before we know it.
