I'm sure yours will come through soon. I've been noticing a lot of people at the Boston office have been getting interviews/approvals lately. Just hang in there!

Congrats! Hope mine is as easy.

So, sadly, I have to roll back some on my good news of GC approval. :(

Got a letter from the field office asking for the vaccination supplement to I-693. This was *despite* showing my DS-3025 to the officer during the interview and being assured that it was fine and no further medical evidence was required. Oh well. Doesn't sound too hard, right?

I checked locally and of the 5 civil surgeons around, prices ranged from $400 to $600. None of them understood that I was a K-1 adjustee and exempt from a medical examination (all the USCIS letter demanded was the vaccination record to be copied onto the I-693 and signed/sealed by a civil surgeon). Eventually I found a place with a competent and friendly civil surgeon willing to talk to me. His junior staff did not quite understand the family vaccination/documentation rules and kept insisting that I needed another TB test/check X-ray, but he basically told them to shut up and do what I wanted. Took me all day but I ended up with a properly signed, sealed and completed I-693 marked as "vaccine history complete - all requirements met". Ended up costing me $50. It's on its way overnight to USCIS in Santa Clara.

Phew!

got a letter from the field office (Columbus OH) for an interview on June 13. We got it today. Hoping that it'll be alright as they only gave us a week to prep.

Making the copies of all the documents was what took me the most time! That, and assembling a reasonable pile of co-mindling evidence.

Follow the checklist, make sure you've made copies as requested and have originals (passports, birth certificates, marriage certificate) and you're golden. Our interviewing officer was particularly pleased to see both our names on phone bills, car insurance and life insurance policies, as well as photos from our wedding and honeymoon. Didn't look at any of our tax/income stuff or as any interrogative questions, though he did ask me to repeat some of my answers from the I-485 such as "are you or have you ever been a member of a terrorist organization?". Hmm.. let me think.. no. Let's go with no!

Good luck with it! I hope you're goes as easily as ours did, but without the later RFE for an I-693 vaccination transcription.

I had previously come up with a spreadsheet some months ago to try to see the progress of different cases. Most of these cases were from the beginning of December, but some went back to the end of November and even October. I went back last week and just checked on the progress of those cases and most of them have been approved or an interview set. Some had interviews in May, but the status hadn't changed, so I don't know what's going on there. Most that were waiting for interviews have been scheduled, but there were a few here and there that were still on Fingerprint Fee Received.

Someone from the March 2015 K-1 filer thread commented (because they couldn't find their AOS filer thread) that they had put in a request last week and were approved for their GC a few days after that. It looks like they filed AOS November 17, 2015 and NOA date November 23, 2015. I think they called May 31st and were approved the next day or something. So maybe others will have similar experiences? We are starting to head into our sixth month for our group, so perhaps more people will share their service request experiences and hopefully those are positive experiences!

Still waiting for their response...and hopefully it is a positive one

October filer here. Still on fingerprint fee received. I filed a service request a month ago and uscis still hasn't assigned it to an officer for review. Womp womp womp.

Most of the cases around me and everyone I know personally were approved in 3-5 months.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's hard to understand why some cases go much smoother and faster than others that seem to go on over 6 months. I hate to see that your service request hasn't been attended to either! It makes you wonder what else could you possibly do?!?!

Got an email this morning ... Card being produced, no interview :)

Good luck to those still waiting

Congrats! That's really great news! In another week, you should have it in hand! Hopefully more follow you!
