Hello everybody out there on visa Journey,

I finally have the Interview coming up in January and I am super super nervous. Not that I have anything to hide. My husband and I are now 3 years happily married and I don't want to miss him for nothing. He is the best thing what could have ever happened to me. But there is this issue with the joint bank accounts which we were trying to do but USAA didn't accept my itin number (We will keep trying though since I read that other people were able to get it). My question is even though we don't have any joint bank account, my son's and I are on USAA listed as family members. We also have the deed of our house which we bought last year on both of our names as well as car insurance and the phone contract's and water bill.

I know the joint bank account is a big deal, and we are trying to get it, but would be the other proofs which we have enough? We really have nothing to hide, we love each other so I am not to worried about the Interview itself but more about the documentation of the bank accounts :(.

Also I supposed have received by now my EAD which is still floating around somewhere at the USPS (USCIS put by mistake the wrong zip code and it went somewhere else, now it can't be found anywhere), so I am probably not even able to apply for my ssn and drivers license grrrrr. So it's a nerve wrecking time right now uahh.

I hope somebody can give some advice. Have a great week :)

I think you will be fine with the evidence you have. Include a note explaining why you do not have a joint bank account. How about life insurance policies, 401K, wills, medical power of attorney, etc.? Good luck.

Thank you sooo much. That's a very big relieve to know :). Yes we have all medical insurances and everything else on both of our names. We also moved around a lot so we have all the rental contracts from the past til now plus the deed of our house.

Also we got an immigration lawyer who helped us filing the documents since we had absolutely no idea how and what and where to file that. He will be also there during the interview which wouldn't be necessary, but oh well lol
