Whats the difference between a G-325 & G-325A

I am so confused, what is the difference between these two forms? Which ones go with which applications; I-130,I-456, and EAD application.

Substantively, the forms (and there is also a G-325C to increase the confusion) collect the same type of biographical info, but you are expected to attach different ones to different applications.

Assuming I understood your case correctly (from another post here), here is what you need to do:

- For I-485 you need to attach one G-325A with the applicant's (non-USC spouse) info (see item 8 on p. 4 of the instructions, which you should read in detail and follow to the letter).

- For I-130 you need to attach two forms G-325A -- one for petitioner (the USC spouse) and one for the beneficiary (non-USC spouse) (see item 1.D on p. 3 of the instructions, which you should also read in detail and follow systematically). It is redundant, but those are the instructions. The people reviewing your application will expect to see those and you want to help them check their boxes (quite literally).

An additional thing to pay attention to is the box to the left of the signature box at the bottom of this form that says "This form is submitted in connection with an application for: ..." The USC petitioner will write "Other - I-130 support" and the non-USC applicant will select "Status as permanent resident".
