I have a binder with a hard copy printout of the evidence I sent in for initial CR1, all the evidence I sent in for ROC and updated information since that time which was collected over the past year. So photos printed out same as initially. I have all of our car and home insurance that show both our names, tax return transcripts, some bills that have both our names, documents that show our joint business ownership. The first page of our bank statements since 2013 when I was able to be added to my husband's account.

I have the original versions of divorce certificates, birth certificates etc.

I'm not taking any chances. It is all sorted in a binder and ready to go. It has been there for a while and I've just added the bank statement updates each month when they're available.

I know I have more than needed but i'm not willing to risk missing anything they might want to see!

Just printed out statements for checking and 2 credit cards for past 4 years. its around 500 pages lol

Congratulations, another1's dad!

I'll update the timeline shortly.

Regarding the question on post-interview travel to Canada; I really don't think they'll care, as long as you disclose this travel, but for added assurance, you could take copies of hotel receipts or reservations or something like that. Maybe even just a letter from work stating the days you were in Canada. None of this is really necessary and they can pull the information they need from CBT if they want, but having it may make a cranky officer leave you alone on the morning of the oath.

I use Global Entry when traveling back from overseas and so I'm missing quite a few passport stamps. For these trips I have copies of my itinerary and, where I remembered, a photo of the Global Entry receipt from the machine (before the customs officer takes it from me).

If you do decide to call them, be sure to come back and let us know what they say.

I'm curious for the 4 of us placed not placed inline... four questions (don't sweat it if you don't want to answer)...

Stavroula58, Groovyaardvark, JimmyHou, Spmaria

-What's your nationality?

-How long have you lived in the US?

-Do you travel internationally often?

-Do you have what you'd consider a common first or last name in your home country?

Hi everyone,

I am Greek.

I became a LPR on January 2009. I am married to an American citizen for more than 27 years. We have two sons both American citizens, permanent US residents.

I know I met the continuous residence and physical presence criteria on 3 years base of an American citizen spouse.

I have many long trips abroad in order to be with my husband as he has a job contract abroad (he is a PhD biology scientist) in a European research institute for 2-3 more years. (Nonfederal, nor military or even in an American company). I spend my time between my home in Greece with my husband and my home in States with my sons. After my husband's job contract ends, we plan to return permanently in the States to be with our sons.

I am in Greece right now.

My first and last name is common in Greece.

This is my story. Maybe the problem is my multiple long trips.

It means that at some point in the future, you will be scheduled for an interview. When that happens, they'll mail you a letter. They should update your status again before the letter is sent.
