Hi guys,

We're sending our package in few days and the only issue is we still owe some taxes to the IRS. I know that the whole amount will be paid by the end of next month. My question is can I check the box that says that we owe taxes and then I show proof of payment at the interview? Thank you

Hi everyone, im in the very last stage to assemble the N-400 package and will send on this Friday. somebody please consult.

here is what I got, we filed under 5 years rule.

- Payment in the amount of $680 to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security

- G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

- Form N-400

- Form N-400 Supplement: (residence last 5 years)

- Two passport photographs (Full name and A# on the back)

- Copy of permanent resident card (front and back)

- Copy of Divorce Decree

Are those enough? Do we need to get the 5 years tax income to send along with this package or just bring to the interview.

So confused!

You need your marriage certificate if you're filling under 3 years with spouse. I'm only basing my assumption this way because you mention divorce decree.

if at the time you are signing your document you owe taxes then you have to admit that you owe taxes. Don't sign it saying it is the truth when it is not. You will be able to say you have paid once you get to your interview but read what you are signing. That is what I would do anyway.

I'm filing under 5 years rule. used to marry but already divorce. So I got to include the divorce decree right?

Is it the certified copy or just a normal photocopy.

Is your GC date February 9th or February of 2009?
