Does anyone know how many days from online status change to interview scheduled until i get a letter? My status was changed on Monday and i havent gotten letter yet

Go take a look at our chart of timelines for the group. Most of us have received them within a few days. I bet you will get it tomorrow or Saturday!

My status changed on Feb 22nd and I still haven't gotten my letter in the mail. I'm going to call them next Monday if I don't get it today or Saturday.

In our case, online status changed from

"In line for interview " to "Interview scheduled" on Feb. 1st. Interview letter received in mail on Feb. 5th

Updating Bruin85's Interview Letter date and Interview date...

The Interview letter date is the date the letter is received, not the date on the letter (I put today's date).

OK… so I keep getting text updates from a local coffee shop saying that I need to come in for my free cupcake… this is great news, except that the updates sort of look like the USCIS updates. So I get excited, then disappointed, then excited again, because… well… there’s a cupcake involved.

I don’t think I’ll be placed inline for a few months, going by recent trends… so I just need to enjoy my cupcakes and be patient.

The IO was very nice, asked to see GC, passport and took the traffic ticket payment proof. I remember 5 out of the 6 questions:

- Name 2 US holidays

- Who was the First President

- Who is the governor of our state

- What movement tried to end racial discrimination

- Where is the Statue of Liberty

Thanks to everyone for all your help and good luck to those waiting!

You've been reading some old posts. They used to send out yellow letters before the interview letter. These just told you that an interview was on the way and mentioned some of the documents you should prepare. I haven't heard of anyone getting one in about 2 years. If you look at tables from 2013 and earlier, you'll see a column for when the yellow letter was received.

So I received 2 mails from uscis today, one stating " due to unforeseen circumstances ur interview has been rescheduled " and the second one was another interview letter for the April 4th at 10am. As the saying goes becareful what u wish for I was complaining of my afternoon interview on the 22nd of this month. But hopefully I get the same day oath ceremony in Baltimore ??. Please change my interview date to the 4th. Bitter sweet feeling.
