No we didn't. Sixer was placed inline on 02/18/16. That was the last time the timeline was updated for this applicant. The next time will be the day the interview letter is received in the mail, which hasn't happened yet (the e-notification that an interview has been scheduled isn't included in the table).

Make sure you read the table instructions... I've seen mistakes in some of the recent monthly tables. But we appreciate the heads-up nonetheless!

If you are married or divorced, take the marriage and/or divorce certificates with you.

If you have children, take their birth certificates.

This isn't required under the 5 year rule, but if you get a stubborn interviewer, it's better to have the documents with you than to argue.

The same goes for tax returns or transcripts... very few 5 year applicants are asked for them, but if you have time to get them ready, take them with you.

If you can't get some of these, it shouldn't be a problem; what you have is more than enough... they'll ask for the GC, passport, appointment letter. They may ask for the birth certificate for name verification. In one case I read about they asked for the social security card, so take that just in case.

Finally, if you got your GC through marriage, remember that while you don't have to prove that you are currently in a valid marriage (under the 5 year rule) you may be asked to prove that you were in such a marriage when you got your GC and removed conditions. This is not common, but some 5 year applicants are asked marriage questions. Just like some people who got their GCs through employment are asked to explain why they left their employer so soon after becoming permanent residents.

My interview is tomorrow and this is what i am bringing. I am filing on the basis of the 3 year rule. Technically I could have filed in August '14 but didn't get around to doing it until Dec '15.

Please let me know if I am missing anything:

- Appointment letter

- Biometrics letter

- Green card

- My passport(s) and SSN card

- Spouse birth certificate

- Spouse passport

- Child birth certificate

- Marriage certificate

- Proof of traffic ticket payments and driving record abstract

- Tax returns for 2012, 2013 and 2014

- Deed to our house with both names

- Bank statements with both names

- Home insurance policy with both names

- Account statement from daycare with both names

They sometimes ask to see a birth certificate.

This is more likely if your name isn't the same on all your documents, and less likely if it is the same.

If you don't have it with you, you'll get a Request for Evidence and have to send it in before a decision is made.

Does anyone know how many days from online status change to interview scheduled until i get a letter? My status was changed on Monday and i havent gotten letter yet
