New citizen here . Ceremony was last Thursday at the Irving Texas Field Office. Schedule was supposed to be @ 8:30, but they started the check in process around 8:45 which took about 45 minutes. Th

I don't expect there to be any reason for delay on the FBI check. It's just a little concerning.

You can be placed inline any day now or you may just wait a month and then suddenly have your status change to interview scheduled.

It's still early in the process.

I'm with you.

Being placed inline is rather meaningless. It's the interview letter that matters. In-line thing indication that they haven't forgotten about us.

But I'm curious to see how reliable this thing is too. we already know that it doesn't work for some people So there's obviously no reason to worry if it doesn't work for one of us!

In the next two weeks, we should all know!

Updating kwakun's inline date... yesterday would have been 1 month prior to anniversary date, but it was a Sunday, so maybe the system doesn't update cases on weekends and holidays.

Inline date predictor

Keeping track of December 2015 early-filers to test the accuracy of the prediction that you'll be placed inline for interview 1 month before your GC anniversary date assuming you've completed biometrics by then.

(Name followed by anniversary date and actual inline date)

Kwakun 03/07 02/08 Correct (02/07 was a Sunday)
Ms Hogan 03/14 02/14 ?

Based on kwakun's date, it looks like updates don't happen on weekends and holidays; we'll see if this is the case for Ms Hogan and JimmyHou since their dates fall on a Sunday and Presidents Day respectively.

Will let you know. I need to correct the Green Card (Anniversary) date. The GC date was March 13, 2013, not March 17, 2013.

There will be no updates until you are placed inline for interview.
