So I filed my n400 on December 4th, got my biometrics done in Baltimore on the 28th of December

and I was placed in line for an interview on the 30th of December, but its been over a month now and my

Many people wait several months... it depends on your local office.

Look through the older monthly threads for people from Baltimore to get an idea of the timeframe, but it's not at all uncommon for people to wait 3 or 4 months between being placed inline for interview and being scheduled for an interview.

Yes, you might get the interview letter without an online update... it happens.

The process takes most people 4-9 months these days depending on where they live (some are faster than that and some are slower than that). You applied in December... if you get your interview letter in early April, do your interview in early May, and take your oath ceremony in early June, you'll still have finished faster than about half the people who apply. I'm not saying it'll take that long... I'm just trying to help you get an idea of what the average is (based on what I've read).

So no need to worry at all at this point.

I added you to the tracking table. If you'd like the rest of your info filled in, let us know. The following is missing:

-The resident since date on your green card.

-The date on your NOA receipt notice

-The date your payment was cashed/processed.

The last two applicants from Baltimore who filled in their timeline waited 3 months between bio and interview. That means they probably got their interview letters about 6-8 weeks after bio. You may find more people on the monthly threads (not everyone fills in their timeline).

Since we're all waiting, I thought I'd share this. We've talked about this prediction before; it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, but a lot of people are placed inline exactly 1 month before their 3 or 5 year anniversary (if they filed early).

So the first two early-filer inline predictions seem to have panned out!

I am very lucky that this is going so fast. I had an attorney in Buffalo do my application for me because I work for a Canadian company and didn't want any bs happening with my application due to days away from home so I decided to hire this firm. They were expensive but I think it was worth it. My lawyer told me that when their office calls the USCIS Buffalo field office, the field office actually takes their calls.

It could be the name of the attorney that I used or the fact that I live in bum $#@* nowhere. I mean seriously, who wants to live in this part of NY State since it is so expensive and taxed super high. If my husband didn't own a business here, we would have been long gone.
