New citizen here . Ceremony was last Thursday at the Irving Texas Field Office. Schedule was supposed to be @ 8:30, but they started the check in process around 8:45 which took about 45 minutes. Th

Called the USCIS on Friday. Some how I managed to talk to Level II officer. He told me my background check result was received a day after the bio. He was gonna put a request in for my interview processing.

I suppose that's good, but your process seems to be progressing perfectly normally... why would you spend time on the phone with USCIS?

Did you get some indication that there was going to be a delay? Just curious.

You would probably have been placed inline this Friday regardless.
