Inline today, 01/25/2016.

Normally how long to wait for the letter of interview :D im so excited.

One more update to go... you should get an "interview has been scheduled" notification before they send the letter.

In some offices it's just a few days, in others it's 2 or 3 months.

I keep hoping I am as lucky as Spoom is and that interview has been scheduled notification comes right away.

I think that the only thing that will slow me down is that I checked off no on my N400 application that I have never been cited...well stupid me didn't realize that this also meant any traffic tickets.

When I went in for my bio appt, I asked about the traffic violations questions on the N-445 that will be issued before the interview where it ask about tickets. The USCIS IO told me that they want all of your driving history not just your driving history since you have been a PR in the US....I was gob smacked...we are talking about going back to 1983 since I started driving.

I had an unpaid speeding ticket in Quebec from 2012 which I paid on line yesterday...thought that I paid it as I was getting ready to move to the US and turns out I didn't. I have maybe 4 speeding tickets (usually 12-14 mph) over the limit but these are all paid. I am hustling to get certified copies of my drivers abstract and will explain to the IO that I didn't realize on the N400 that you had to include these.

I am smacking myself in the head for this now.

I also checked NO and i have few tickets, like speeding, parking.... Will that be an issue?

Glad to see that I am not the only one here who did this.

From what my lawyer said and the research that I have been doing it shouldn't be as long as you flag this with the IO at the beginning of your interview and let them know that it was not intentional to omit this information and that your interpretation of the N-400 was that you thought that it meant that while you were a PR in the US. . Also bring any evidence you have that shows that all the fines have been paid. I am in the process of trying to obtain a certified copy of my drivers abstract from Ontario for all the years that I lived there.I will be trying to do the same for my NY state DL. From the research that I have been doing if the ticket was under $500 and it wasn't for a DUI then this should be okay.

When I got the ticket in Quebec, I was going with the flow of traffic but because I had Ontario plates I believe that is why the cop pulled me over and ticketed me...they don't like Ontarians in Quebec very much.

It will be so sweet to be done with USCIS forever. I'm hoping I can get naturalized before my kid is born this May! (Otherwise I'll have a bit of an update for the IO ;))

I'm also kind of looking forward to seeing an actual USCIS office. I've only ever been in ASCs or consulates so far since they've always skipped my interview whenever it was a possibility. Turns out, the ASC in Cleveland is actually a different room (and floor) than the normal USCIS field office.

I've been in the biometrics office and then other office to get my passport stamped during ROC. There were people there waiting for interviews but it was not particularly interesting. Is there yet another office?

This definitely won't slow down the scheduling of your interview at all.

You can bring this up as a correction at the interview... remember that there's a section on the application that you're not supposed to sign until the interview? That's so you can sign it after all corrections and under oath.

I hope you get your interview letter soon, but remember that some offices are faster than others... Cleveland and Cincinnati are the fastest offices I've seen over the past few years and Columbus isn't far behind... Ohio is doing something right! So if it takes a little longer than our December filers in Ohio, don't worry.

I think Ohio is fast because nobody wants to live here! I know I don't! Too bad the greatest man I've ever known in my life happened to live here and suck me in!

I got a speeding ticket here in Ohio last year. I paid it. End of story? What do I do????

That is one of my concerns as well. I had 2 tickets one for speed limit in 2010 and another ticket because my front light was burnt (I got a ticket at 7am in the morning :/) in 2012, both tickets were issued in TX and I paid them right away but I can't find any receipts and we don't even own that car anymore. The only proof I have is on my bank account. How do I go about getting a proof that I paid my tickets? My husband is in the military and we now live in North Carolina.

For what it's worth, I have two speeding tickets and one parking ticket on my record.

I have court dispositions (direct letter from the court for one, e-payment receipt and response from court for the other) and proof of payments (debit card statements with the payment highlighted) for both speeding tickets, and I have proof of payment for the parking ticket (credit card statement with the payment highlighted). I don't think I can get the court disposition for the parking ticket because I have no idea what the ticket number is, and also it was in 2009, so I'm just hoping proof of payment is enough.

Oh, I also have my driver's abstract from both states where I've lived. Not sure if I should bother getting my Ontario driver's abstract. Depending on the state, you can often order these online from your state's DMV.
