New citizen here . Ceremony was last Thursday at the Irving Texas Field Office. Schedule was supposed to be @ 8:30, but they started the check in process around 8:45 which took about 45 minutes. Th

Biometrics done in Buffalo..in and out in 5 minutes. I asked the gal that was taking my fingerprints how long the average application is taking to process and she said about 2 months. I went to the passport office as well and they said that they could do same day service.

Biometrics done in Newark, NJ. Spent there an hour and a half, lines were huge. But I had "fun" reading civic test info they gave me and watching the same short story in Spanish on the TV in the waiting room (probably 10 times in a row). The guys doing fingerprints and photos were super nice. Already checked my case a couple of times XDDD. I wish I can forget about everything until my interview notice arrives but I just can't. Keep refreshing USCIS page over and over again ;-(

Basically means you're standing by for an opening. They will next send you a letter with the date and time!
