New citizen here . Ceremony was last Thursday at the Irving Texas Field Office. Schedule was supposed to be @ 8:30, but they started the check in process around 8:45 which took about 45 minutes. Th

My check got cashed on 01/04 and my Biometric is scheduled at 01/20. Can someone please add my info to the list?

11/22/12 = Filed I-751 to remove conditions

11/30/12 = Got NOA1 (I-797C)

12/23/12 = Got the bio-metrics done (USCIS Status: Pending)

In addition to the links posted by others, you'll be given a packet at your biometrics appointment (see your biometrics letter) that will include a list of the 100 questions that may be asked.

Civics test.

You will be asked 10 of these 100 questions and you'll have to get 6 out of the 10 right. The links posted above by others contain the same info as the packet you'll be given.

Writing test.

You will be told to write out a simple sentence. Spelling mistakes do not result in failure unless the meaning of the word or sentence is altered by the spelling mistake.

Reading test.

You will be given a piece of paper with several simple sentences on it and you'll be asked to read to one of them out loud.

Speaking test.

The speaking test is administered through your conversation with the interviewer and your ability to answer the interview questions. You will pass as long as the interviewer determines that you are able to understand the application and answer questions about it.

I'm studying 20 questions per day. That way by the time I get my I interview date I know all the questions.

I've been loosely studying the questions since I applied for my AOS application but now I am going hard core.

I printed off the flashcards/put packing tape over them so they are laminated and my husband quizzes me on a nightly basis. I also listen to the test while working during the day on a YouTube link that I found.

I am going balls to the walls on this lol! :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

All done with biometrics. I went in a few hours early hoping that they'd allow me to complete it early as I was going to be racing home to make it in time for my son's school bus! They let me go early. No problem. It did take me half an hour to get through security at the front doors though which was NOT how it was when I went the last two times. Eek!

I'm just glad to have another thing crossed off the list!
