So I called uscis customer center last week and today again, and they just told me the same thing that I see when I check my case online, only date when they received my application. They didn't want to tell me about biometrics appt or give any other information before January 7, which will be one month since they received my app. I'm really worried now because my noa date is one of the earliest here but most of you already got biometrics letter.

it could be that the miami field office is busy so that they couldn't schedule your biometric yet. hang in there, it will come. It happened to me earlier this year during the I-751 process. then my field office was Jacksonville. they're so backlogged that I didn't have my bio until after three months.

Anybody had experience doing Bio in Dallas ? i'm scheduled for the 30. Planning to go there a day before.

Completed my Bio Appointment this morning. It was a breeze. just took me about 15 minutes.

How many more weeks before we will received appt for interview?

Hi Bruin, decided not do the walk in yesteday. Instead i came in early @ 8am the day of my appt.. I was 2nd in line and was done 15 minutes.

Hi Bruin, decided not do the walk in yesteday. Instead i came in early @ 8am the day of my appt.. I was 2nd in line and was done 15 minutes.

Depends on your office. It's not likely it'll be before your anniversary date. Some people get scheduled for right after their anniversary (2 months after bio) others wait 4 or 5 months. If you haven't applied 90 early then things could move faster for you. The next step will be that you'll be notified that you've been placed inline for an interview. That means that the national benefits center has authorized the field office to put you on the list for those who need to be interviewed. This often happens 1 month before the anniversary of your green card date.

I checked the chart and it looks like you didn't apply early. So theoretically, you should be placed inline as soon as your background check is done. That could be soon. Then it's just a matter of how busy Dallas is and when they can give you a spot.

The trend seems to indicate that you could be placed in line for interview as soon as your background check is completed. Some people got placed couple of days or weeks after the bio. But the trend also tend to generally show that you don't get your interview until after the anniversary of your GC. So for the most part I tend to agree with JimmyHou's observations.

I hope I won't have to wait 3 months for bio :) I wish that Hialeah is my field office, like its yours. It seems that things are going pretty fast there.

Hi Kash,

Can you please update my info? I just received my I-797C NOA in the mail today. My application was received on December 22nd, with a priority date of December 22nd. The notice date is December 24th 2015.

On the notice it says this "Upon receipt of all required Record Checks you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."

Does this mean that no biometrics will be required? I had my last set of Biometrics done last year in December when I sent my I751 application in.
