So this is the 30-day mark after we got the scan date - Nov 3. My husband called and was told that she will place us under supervisor review and would take 42 days. We are not sure if that is on top of 30 days or just another 12 days more.

Anyway, we will just keep waiting and praying. Goodluck to all of us here.

Any news? let us knowhowlong it takes asmy scan date is nov 2nd and no ccyet and scared to put it under supervisor review due to the 42 days. thakx. good luck. hope u hear something soon

The reason why your case at CSC took over 45 days is because you filed 129F K3 along with your I-130. Once you file K3, your I-130 will be pulled from the queue based off of priority dates and both petitions will be "tied" together and are adjudicated at the same time. Sadly, K3 processing is taking much longer than the standalone I-130 at all service centers. The whole purpose of K3 is defeated because of this. It's obsolete now K3. Only K1 filers are getting faster approvals.

Coming to your status update, I'm not sure about CSC, but mine was NSC and it did get updated to something like "Case shipped to Department of State for ...... " and then it took 4 days for NVC to receive it and another 10 days to get the case number and IIN number.

HTH !

Well, then this is the third reason I really regret we had to use a lawyer. :-(

But thank you for your response.

We are following certain VJ member timelines and they all had called after the 30-day mark. After 2 to 3 days to a week, they got their case complete. So, we took the risk and called. My husband called on a Friday. We are praying we see the magical 3rd N/A this coming weekdays (as today is Sunday). We will call again Friday to follow up.

Just got off the phone with the NVC, our scan date is 11/05. The lady on the phone was very courteous, I just told her that we sent in our documents last month and that we received an e-mail from the NVC stating that they received the document 11/05, however it's been over a month and we still didn't hear back form them. She directly told me that since they documents have been there for over a month she will have her supervisor go over our case, and that I will be receiving an email "soon, in the next few days" regarding the status of the package. Interesting, as I was expecting her to say in 42 days, but she didn't.

Are things changing??? Are they working faster now???

Hoping for some good news, soon. :-)

Hello, guys!

Don`t know where to write because I`m already off the NVC stage (case complete on Nov24th) but nothing yet since then, so I can`t write to Interview topics )))) I`m in the middle )))

SO the question is - should I do anything about asking NVC or somewhere else about my possible date of interview in Moscow?

Am I just waiting for letter from Embassy? What do you think?

A lot of people lately got their cases completed right after being put to supervisor`s review. Even me - after 30 days of waiting I was put on supervisor`s review and got CC the same day!

Have you tried calling the NVC to see if your interview has been scheduled? From what I understand, scheduling depends on the days and slots provided by each embassy/consulate every month this is why some get and interview right away some have to wait months.

But I'd stay in touch with the NVC, they will be your primary source for interview scheduling.

Good luck!

Congratulations. Come join us on the Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet thread. You can call if you want and see if they are still scheduling for your embassy.

The letter would be from NVC not embassy. And after being scheduled the letter is coming in 24 to 48 hrs usually. So you can call or just keep checking inbox. There's no guarantee you got in for January. That's why calling to see if your embassy is still scheduling is vital

Our NOA2 from California service center is November 17. I called the NVC today and they said they received our file November 25! That is pretty quick for California I've heard. Anyway, no case number yet, but they told me to call back between Christmas and new year's. I'll probably call again on Friday or Monday. ;)

I've tried looking up similar timelines to see how long it's taking from received to case number right now... But it's difficult sorting through the cases because there's no search option specifically for NVC received. I found about 15 cases recently received and the average of those was about 17 days to case number. If people are filling out their timelines correctly, and I'm sure some people don't call every single day so they might pad that number a little.

Anyone else have a received date around Nov 25 and already have their case number and IIN? Of so, how many days? I SWEAR I look this stuff up before I post... I really do. ;)

Hello everyone. Wanted to ask something. When we pay the AOS and IV fees, we are supposed to send the financial and supporting documents.. Should they be photocopied or original? Secondly, I received the document cover list in NVC welcome letter. So is it compulsory that I should mail it or my husband who's the petitioner can do that as well, since I received that list..

Thanks in advance :)

Either of you can send the documents to the NVC. Make sure you include the coversheet that you received from the NVC. Once you pay the AOS fees you can send all the documents at one time i.e. the AOS and Civil documents in one folder. Do not send them separately as that will delay your process. For the documents you can send the photocopies as they will ask for the originals during the time of the interview.
