Do you think I should call and check with the nvc since it has been 30 days since my scan date or should I wait till 45 days ?

I really need some opinion ?!

You can call to check in and see if their are any problems with your case- I doubt there are, anyone that seems to get a checklist gets it with in 2 weeks or so. But honestly the only thing they will tell you is to wait until the 45 days are up. But I know I was impatient and called at 38 days instead of waiting all 45. (:

I didnt called because i didnt want to get a supervisor review and to add a 45 days plus ...but what can we do just wait , thank you for your suggestion .

The people who were put on supervisor review only seemed to wait 5 days roughly. But I know the fear of waiting another 45 days is overwhelming. Do whatever makes you most comfortable in this situation (:

Hi all, I want to double check that if for affidavit of support, if the sponsor is in the same household as the petitioner but filing jointly with their spouse does the sponsor and his spouse both to the I-864A? or would it be sponsor I-864 and their spouse I-864A...

It will be my father the sponsor and my mother files taxes jointly. We live in the same house they have me as a dependent in their taxes.

I just don't want to submit the wrong forms.

Hello Everyone! Congrats to those that got CCs! I called NVC yesterday, they didn't even review my DS260, yet which I did back in October. Although, my scan date is Dec 2nd, the operator put in a note for a supervisor to get on it. Hope it doesn't mean we're in supervisor review??????

The wait is killing me!!! But I get to see my husband in two weeks for our one year anniversary!!!

Right there with you, day 40 for me. Fingers crossed! Good luck. And yes I have seen for the most part 99% of check lists come around 2 weeks after Scan date (im not sure how accurate that is).

Does anyone know why some people get checklists more than two weeks after the scan date? Is it just part of the magic of NVC?

They just want to see us suffer really. lol. But it is awful for those that do wait so long only to have to reset there scan date. All we can do is hope we checked everything 1000 times, and they don't 'lose something' like they have for other people.
