Request a NVC expedite request by sending a request to following email address based on your case and the delays it is causing and ask them if it can be expedited at Embassy level. If your embassy accept that request then your case will be sent to embassy ASAP and it will be processed then there only.

Question, don't we need some grounds to request an expedite? Ex: financial hardship or severe health issues?

Can someone provide a sample draft or two of NVC expedite email request? That would help a lot.

One last question, when you fill out your I-864's, is anyone hand-printing them with ink or is everyone typing them?

According to USCIS help, it must be black ink, typed, ALL CAPS.

7 days since NVC got my papers. Still no email about it.

I do not believe we are going to get one confirming Scan Date like anlother member claims.

That's the only person I heard "seen" here in VJ stating he/she received such email.

I am not questioning his/her word, I am just saying it is very rare that NVC does that.

I received one. I've seen quite a few people post that they did as well. Usually it's 5 days after they receive your documents, not sure if the holidays played a factor in you receiving it. Have you confirmed they have your email address?

I received one. I've seen quite a few people post that they did as well. Usually it's 5 days after they receive your documents, not sure if the holidays played a factor in you receiving it. Have you confirmed they have your email address?

Thanks for your input, perhaps like you just said it is a holiday factor.

Yes, I did confirm my email with them, actually they always verify my phone number and email after I confirm my wife's identity and mine.

Any ways, I was told twice,7 days apart that my scan date is Dec 19th, so I must believe them.

I noticed both of you, morgan.croft and you are going thru Canada. So my question is: Did you do EP (electronic processing) or you mailed both packages.

If you do EP, as I believe you are supposed to do, then that explains the emails.

Yeah - Just noticed in your signature that you received other emails from them. Definitely strange that you haven't received one for your scan date, but you're definitely correct that if the operator told you they received on 12/19, then you're good. I would have thought even with the holiday you would have received it by yesterday.

I'm from Greece.I also received an email on the 1st of December letting me know they received my documents on the 27th of November
