Hi all, we filled out the DS-260 today and found it funny there was a typo on there! In the section about children, one of the questions said dose instead of does. Can't believe no one has caught and changed that lol anyhow, we are another step closer, THANK GOD. Good luck to everyone for speedy and positive cases!!

When I filed ours, I had to select "unknown" to answer the address of the applicant's children because the field for the "country/region" would not open or allowed me to select or type.

Did you have any issues like that?

No, it allowed me to enter the complete address. May have something to do with the browser. I don't think it's a big deal to put unknown.

Yeah, I hope so. I did try another browser.

I reviewed my DS-260, I did not find the typo.

Hi guys,

After the AOS/IV fees are shown as paid does nvc send any instructions packages? If so how long does it take? Can I just print the documents cover sheet online on the payment portal or I need to wait on the instructions package?

Anyone else gone over 30 days for review? Receipt of my AOS/IV package was November 19, I've called several times over the last few weeks, they all told me to wait til after December 19th - I called today and was told that they're processing at 45 days now, not 30 and I should try again in early January? Did anybody else get this news?

My Scan date is Nov 19th and I just called NVC and was told 30-45 days to process.

I asked if there was an increase in case load, because when I first got my scan date, and the few times I called after that it was 30 days, the rep just firmly told me it takes 30-45 days to process.

I did ask about a checklist and he told me there wasn't one. Just waiting for them to process.

So we'll wait......

If you read the last entries in this thread you will confirm that indeed every caller has been told about the 45 days time table

When and from where did you mail the AOS and IV package? Dis you the date that your package actually was delivered to NVC?

I am trying to figure out the time table between package arrival to NVC and actual scan date.

My scan date was 4 days after arrival.

I believe the scan dates are postdated by one day because they do not work on Saturdays and your scan and mine were on Dec. 19th.

Good luck to you.

My Scan date is November 19th.

I mailed my package overnight via Fed ex on November 18th, per Fed-Ex tracking info it was received November 19th at NVC and I received an Email on November 24th telling me my scan date was November 19th.

Thank you..Good Luck to you also.
