My Scan date is 11/20/15. hope to get CC soon (before Christmas)

We have the same Scan date Sohisami. I hope before Christmas as well, but with both the 24th and 25th making the NVC closed, it seems like we may not be gotten to until the 28th. But if it is before January I will be Happy (:

Oh I thought I read somewhere that they were closed on the 24th. But good to know, either way, with them being closed from the 25th and all weekend (as per usual), a lot of cases will mostly be put off until the 28th or so. But here's to hoping for earlier CC and Interview dates.!

very true!I'm just torn between two very conflicting thoughts.First is that since they were saying 30 but in average took them 35 days then maybe it will be the same this time around and it will take them 50 :(

On the other hand perhaps it's exactly the fact that it was taking more than 30 days that made them increase the waiting period to 45 just so they're not out of schedule.I'm hoping that this is what happened.

I had the same thought. Maybe it will still only take 35-37 days, but they are saying 45 to keep the number of irate applicants down...?

If they say 30 people call everyday on 30,31,32etc... Now they might not call until later.

We all know their phone system is woefully inadequate for the volume of calls they receive

Scab date oct 13, checklist nov 23 for outdated i864 form (thanks lawyer). I sent the i864 myself on Dec 10.

Called Friday night to inquiry about an expedite BUT the rep told me that even if we were granted an expedite, NVC would still need to finish the 30-45 day count for checklist review.

Do you know if this is true? Makes no sense to me. If an expedite is granted then we shouldn't need to wait for them to review the checklist reply... Would they?

Thanks

I think we are somewhat in the middle of the dates.

As stated it can be a way for them to lower the call loads and with that get ppl through faster ;)

Lets all hope for the best and take it a day at the time.

And when ppl are at it, with the hopes :) cant you sent some at my letter, there is still not there after 7 days. :(

I have a question. When people on here talk about getting 3 N/As and knowing their case is complete (and I saw/saved the screenshot of that so thank you to whoever provided that) - right now mine shows 2 N/As (AOS documents and financial evidence and civil docs) - does that mean the only thing I wait for is the AOS fee to show N/A instead of paid to know my case is complete? I don't have a scan date yet or anything but am just preparing for the good ol 30-45 day wait of stalking the site for the 3 N/As. Also right now my IV fee is still in process and the DS-260 says not started yet because of the fee not showing paid yet (although it was paid on Thursday) but I see from the screenshot that once it is paid and I do submit the DS-260 it will probably show paid and completed the whole time after both are.

Also, do I have to validate the DS-260 or anything after I submit that or no? Just curious since I had to do that with the DS-261. Thanks everyone!

If you have sent in all papers and didn't get a checklist. You still need a scan date to know more. And the wait is about the 35 day mark, but dont fall down if you past it now they altered the time frame.

Oh yes and all fee´s need also to be payed :)

Then yes it "all" you are waiting for.

The two other n/a will never change.

That's correct on the 3rd n/a. Just wait for AOS PAID to change to n/a and you're CC.

Nothing to validate with DS-260. you will want to print out the confirmation page and bring that with you to the interview.
