Photographs are still a part of the package according to travel.state.gov

This is what the link you shared with us says;

You and each family member accompanying you must bring two identical 2 x 2 inch (51 x 51 mm) color photographs to the visa interview. The photographs must meet the Department of State’sPhotograph Requirements.

This is correct. 2 for the package, and 2 for the interview.

At no point in the link or the checklist it tells us to give nvc 2 photos.

If you can show it pls do so.

This is correct. 2 for the package, and 2 for the interview.

Show us in black and white where it says 2 photos for IV package to NVC.

(There here 2 for the I-130, one for the beneficiary and one for the petitioner).

I hope more members or moderators come forward and clear this up, it may cause checklist. I did not send photos because I could not find anywhere where it says so.

Note: Some embassies, like Bogota requires 7 photographs for the interview.

You brought a good point, the long document cover sheet in the Welcome Letter does not ask for photographs.

BTW SoerenHelmer, your trick about emailing NVC is working, more people is reporting so.

It may have changed. I was going by the attached document, and my attorney asked for them as well to send in with the package.

But read carefully, it says bring them to embassy for interview,

I do not know what cover sheet you are looking at, the one I received DOES NOT lists photographs.

That document you posted is Saylin's NVC VJWiki guide and is outdated, that is what started this sub thread.

Ok maybe every case is different... I got my NVC welcome letter October n a friend of mine got his two weeks ago. I rest my case.
