Thank you very much, I hope so too. :-)

How has your progress been?

Well on my end i've done everything perfectly Ive had everything collected months before it was needed and i've even had the Ds-260 information filled and printed out 4 months before case went to NVC. The problem was the long wait of USCIS we waited 7 months and we didn't have any RFEs. and it took a while for the case to reach NVC and when it did finally reach NVC, we waited almost a month to receive case no and IIN. and after that we waited a couple of weeks for the DS-260 application to become available. So all in all the Waiting is getting on my nerves but Alhamd lelah we are almost done with the process. I just hope we get a quick CC and i hope it doesn't take more than a month for them to set up an interview.

It really is all one BIG wait!!! Yalla, inshalla things will speed up for you soon and that your CC comes in ASAP.

And good luck to everyone still waiting for the CC... I know how nerve wrecking it can be to have to do all this waiting.

Congrats to everyone getting CCs!

Update on our case: I have a 16 October scan date. After waiting well over 30 days our lawyer phoned and we were placed on supervisor review...9 days later I managed to finally get through to NVC the operator for the first time and after pressing to know why we were still waiting 7 and a half weeks later she said there was a back log and other people were waiting - well since I'm on this forum and I know other people are getting their CC this doesn't ring true. They are saying they haven't even opened our file - they are not delaying because we are missing something or my husband's financial information is out of order. So instead of waiting out the 42 days and then potentially getting another lameo excuse from the NVC we're in the process of contacting the Senator...we tried to contact the Senator ourselves during the USCIS process and they didn't even bother to respond but hopefully they will respond quicker to the lawyer.

Wishing everyone the best this holiday season!

Sebastian this case is very odd, because as you said people are getting CC's on a relatively regular basis. One thing I've learnt from this forum so far is that you should call a few times to talk to different NVC representatives to get a more accurate answer, especially in such a case. I was put on supervisor review on Monday and got my CC yesterday; now I have also read that some supervisors are a lot quicker than other, but we have no details/insight into that matter. So I would advise that you contact the NVC another couple of times today (spread a few hours apart) to get a more accurate answer of your current case status.

Earlier this year, I had an issue with my account being "stuck" with regards to getting invoiced for the IV fee, and it wasn't until the third time that I called (within a 2-day span) that a representative actually told me that it was "stuck" and was able to fix the problem for me; the other two told me to wait, but I doubt that a 1-day timeframe of waiting made all the difference.

I hope this helps get you some more concrete answers.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have asked my husband to call as I get pretty flustered when I'm stone walled by someone in authority. I'm also happy to wait for the Senator to contact them. You know how they say there are a certain number of visa for Permanent Residence and that US citizens have unlimited visas (My husband is a US citizen by birth) - my case and others I have read here suggest to me that it's not true. i think they have a policy of holding back cases and pushing others through either randomly or because of certain criteria like country of origin because they probably have number targets of some sort across the board. That's my theory and why I think a Senator would help.

Hi, just started reading this thread as we got a case number yesterday and completed 261 and paid AOS fee. Am I understanding correctly after reading some posts here that I can go ahead and send our document packets now?? I was thinking it was after we completed 260. I wasn't sure if they send a checklist specific to your circumstances or you just send the ones that apply to you. I've had the packets ready for a month now (haha) and have just been waiting for the checklist. Our case has taken so long that I'm afraid I'm getting too excited that things are actually happening and I don't want to mess up now by skipping a step somewhere...

Thanks for any replies and good luck to you all!

Yes once you pay AOS fee send AOS and IV package in. Best to pit in separate envelopes than one overall one with cover checklist they sent.

Hey bookman, scan date 11/05 here and still waiting as well. Some people with scan dates of 11/04 or 11/03 got CC's earlier this week, so hopefully our turns would be coming along soon.

Ok I literally just clicked "Add Post" for my previous reply above (to bookman), then switched tabs in my browser and saw a 3rd N/A!!! :joy:

Wooooohhoooooo!!! Now to call to confirm that it's a CC.

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Com eon over to the interview thread.

Today makes 8th week since our scan date and we finally got a checklist over the phone - for a police clearance that was in our original package. We're sending it off right away! What are going to do, argue with them.

Anyone else getting the run around, you're not alone!

Hello and happy Friday!

Can someone kindly share the link for the CEAC website where I can check the status of my case (a.k.a. where I can check for my 3 N/As)? I had it bookmarked but changed computers and lost the bookmark.

Thanks in advance!
