The issue is crime, not gun control. If the criminal element would decrease, lives would be saved.

You know just like I do what gun control REALLY is...

Gun control only in black areas is quite odd. Maybe they don't want the innocents to stand their ground? Also funny, black people being denied concealed carry permits.

It's as if they want us to be killed off, but that can't be accurate can it?

You should post that link about denying them CC.

Any place that doesn't have shall issue laws automatically allows for discrimination to creep in because it puts all the power in the hands of the sheriff or police chief.

Citation please?

Would it matter if the CCP's were being denied by black Chiefs of Police or Sheriff's? No, I can't substantiate they are or aren't.

I think gun control in general is all about discrimination. I'll try to address this in the post below.

Gun control was implemented back in the 60's when the Black Panthers stormed a federal building with weapons. When black people started exercising their rights to bear arms, the reform was done quickly.

http://countercurrentnews.com/2014/07/lawsuits-filed-as-chicago-denies-black-people-concealed-carry-licenses/

State of Illinois passed a controversial Concealed Carry Weapons permit law last year, a flood of African American applicants have found themselves denied even though they are qualified to receive the permits according to the prerequisites of the law. After hundreds of such residents took a firearms training course, paid an array of fees, and submitted fingerprints for a background check that were then ultimately passed, African American applicants have been receiving notices earlier this year that a special review board has denied their applications for concealed carry licenses.

One such example, Michael Thomas was puzzled that as a former Air Force reservist who routinely carried a gun during military service and has never had a run-in with the law, was turned down, even though the law does not afford police the discretion to deny permits to those who meet the prerequisites and who are not legally prohibited. But Thomas is just one of more than 800 people who have been denied licenses by the board. This board meets behind closed doors and keeps its records and reasoning secret. Even when applicants meet all the criteria, the board says they have no obligation to explain themselves even when it seems clear that the only disqualifying factor is the color of the applicants skin.

Thomas wrote to the Illinois State Police, requesting a review of the decision, assuming that it must have been a mistake.

I have never been arrested or convicted of any offense, either misdemeanor or felony, in the state of Illinois or any other state, Thomas explained in his letter. I have no criminal record of any type.

The state police sent him a letter back, saying that the boards decisions couldnt be reviewed. Thomas, they explained would have to petition a court in order to appeal.

So thats what Thomas did. He joined 193 other Illinoisans many of whom happen to be African Americans in filing lawsuits against the state police. Interestingly, few Caucasians who applied for the permit in Illinois have found themselves denied, even when their records are a bit more tarnished (though without felonies), than Thomass squeaky-clean background.

Officials still wont say why Thomas application was denied. They wont say who denied it either, but the lawsuit hopes to shed some light on this apparently racist review board. Some of those who joined the suit are alleging that the state of Illinois only wants to arm Caucasians, but when people of other ethnic backgrounds apply for permits, they often find themselves inexplicably denied.

Thomass clean record seems to be corroborated by a search of Cook County court records, where he lives. The database turned up no charges. An Air Force spokesman further reported to the local Tribune that Thomas received and honorable discharged in 2012. They added that his military record contains no unfavorable information.

Lawyers involved in the cases say There are law-abiding citizens in the state of Illinois who are fully eligible to carry, and they are denied the right and not given any notice as to why, according to David Thompson, a Washington, D.C., attorney hired to file companion lawsuits in Illinois state court and U.S. District Court. We want a process established that gives people notice of what evidence the state used to make the determination and an opportunity to rebut by putting in their own evidence.

Federal law prohibits convicted felons and convicted domestic abusers from obtaining firearms. Illinois goes even further with their requirements for obtaining a concealed carry permit. So why are Caucasians being given licenses, while African Americans and others with clean records are being turned away?

So now gun control is racist ??

Yes it is.

Here's some thoughts for you:

Find a city that has the body count of any major urban city but with white people dying in the same amount. Shouldn't be too hard considering how many guns are out there and they outnumber black people by a staggering amount. Take your time with that one.

Second, it's been admitted before that gun control was created SPECIFICALLY for us.

http://www.guncite.com/journals/gun_control_markdis.html

The gun control advocate and journalist Robert Sherrill frankly admitted that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was "passed not to control guns but to control blacks," and Barry Bruce-Briggs, writing in The Public Interest, stated in no uncertain terms that "it is difficult to escape the conclusion that the Saturday Night Special is emphasized because it is cheap and it is being sold to a particular class of people. The name is sufficient evidence. The reference is to '******town Saturday Night.'" Going back to 1694, the first gun law provision prohibited free blacks from owning firearms.

One undeniable aspect of the history of gun control in the United States has been the conception that the poor, especially the non-white poor, can't be trusted with firearms. Keeping arms away from blacks has always been a concern of white legislators; in fact, the first ever mention of blacks in Virginia's laws was a 1644 provision barring free blacks from owning firearms, and early (p.60)firearm laws were often enacted for the sole purpose of preventing immigrants, blacks, and even agrarian agitators, from owning guns.

Third and most scary of them all. Look at the worst cities to live in that have an insane amount of gun deaths. All of them have draconian gun control laws. Which serves two distinct purposes:

1. It lets people like you(and other lawful gun owners) to look towards us as a reason for gun ownership. This is why every time a white person goes on a rampage, we take a trip to the hood(it's already happened this week with the PP shooting, now we looking at Louisiana). Because folks think it's the guns that's keeping them safe, when that's not the case.

2. By not allowing people to arm themselves, you kill two birds with one stone. Black people who arm themselves get caught by the legal net of the law and innocent bystanders are left unprotected and at the mercy of criminals. Not to mention the police in those neighborhoods are simultaneously not caring AND over policing at the same time.

No joke, between being picked off by our own and the police doing it, I'm dishearten to say it's genocide on black people, just on a smaller scale and they've picked the perfect weapon to do it, us.

So black people killing black people in the city, is somehow the master plan of the Gun control crowd...

Most likely they are stumping on this issue for the anti-gun lobby/activists as part of some back room deal with the IRS with the blessing of the current admin. Make some appearances and pretend to be down with the AGL's and we will forget about some or all of the millions in unpaid taxes you owe Al. I know we can count on you Spike since you, Obama, and Al are down like 4 flats.

Considering black people in those places are forbidden to own guns AND it's been said here plenty of times that gun control keeps guns out of the hands of those who could protect themselves, can you think of a more sinister plan? Not to mention, the NRA seems to be all about arming certain folks, not ones who live in those cities, and they need the most.

Ps you are on the verge of having a " the liberal democratic party is kepping my people on a reservation of despair and poverty" moment

No, because Republicans could care less about minorities. They've made that loud and clear on several occasions.
