I'm sure I tried it and and it didn't work. Maybe I did something wrong. I'll have to check it out.

I just did it the other day and it worked for me! I have prime on my account and that didn't transfer over so I still had to pay some shipping, but it was just the standard domestic shipping rate and not international so it still saved quite a bit of money.

My gifting dilemma over the years has not been so much WHAT to give but the cost of shipping. I'm constantly on the lookout for some place online that I can use to buy and ship in the UK (like we do here with Amazon, etc.) to save the cost. There have been a few times that the shipping cost is more than the gift, so now I try to find nice things for Mum and family that are lighter in weight.

I hear ya on the shipping! Finished the shopping last night so I can ship via US mail on Saturday. Expensive since this year buying gifts for her mum, sister's family, and a nice that came over over the summer and spent 2 weeks with us here. The US post office has a small, medium, or large box with up 20 pounds. Guessing its going to cost around a $100 to ship two boxes.

Got her mum a sweater, lol typical guy thing to mum gift.

Got her sister a pair of xmas ear muffs and a game for her son.

Got her nice who works in a pub a pair of Elf ears with bells on them.

For my fiance, its a secret!

11/13/15 - Received hard copy in mail - NOA2 10/25/16 - Received Green Card in the mail! - Yahoooo!

11/23/15 - Received by NVC (called on 24th)

11/24/15 - Called NVC and got LND#

11/30/15 - Case status at NVC: READY!

01/12/16 - Medical completed!

01/23/16 - Packet 4 received

01/27/16 - Interview - APPROVED!

02/05/16 - Visa In Hand

02/11/16 - POE - Ohio

My fiances family has a system where they draw names and they all get one person they are buying gifts for. Has to be more than $75 but max $100. So this year i got included and i´m sending a box filled with Swedish treats and classic foods since i know that it´s what his family wants :)

But for my fiance i´m buying an X-box ONE....shhhhhh, i am glad he isn´t on here to read this :joy::rofl:
