So had my interview today and got a 221(g) because they need an updated I-864 and police cert, and also another birth cert, because the one I sent was wrong.

They kept my passport though, which I'm hoping is a good thing?!

Hello guys i just checked my status and it chanege to administrative processing Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached. What is the meaning of that ???

I checked the CEAC website and it says issued today. Guess it will be available for pick up next week. I would like to thank the members of this site for their support. We really appreciate it. This forum was absolutely a wonderful resource during this process.

There is a lot to be learned in this process and I hope to take away from positive things from it.

Good morning, Vj'ers fam.... my step daughter case cc on dec 18th scan date was nov 10th....can I request a expedite for, if yes where do I send the email to nvc or the embassy? ?Both her parent and stepparent not there and she presently stay with her grandmother but her grandma as a surgery to do in another country in February , there is no one else to keep her all this is giving my wife sleepless nights she's v stressed her daughter is only 12.... my wife as school and just started a new job...... she's planning on going back home for however long its takes bcuz Kingston Jamaica as a backlog. ....

Today is 2 months since case complete...2 more months to go! I could'nt bear this journey if not for VJ. I am so encouraged and enlightened by all of your posts. Congrats on all the interview dates and visas in hand guys. For those still waiting you have company.

Call NVC since you are still there and request expedite then will tell you about sending the evidence to them.

I'm currently printing out conversations from Facebook, but I feel like crying when I see how much paper I'm using for this, honestly. Can someone tell me if having around 200 pages worth of conversations + emails will be enough? I have over 10k pages of Facebook conversations...

Is it going to be enough or should I print some more and might as well start crying? I promised myself I will plant few trees after I'm done with this process :|
