So now what ? What do you need to do next ?

...I have to submit an additional sponsor I-864A or put a bunch of USD in a US bank account? probably we'll do the former so we don't have to wait until the house closes next month.

hey vj members can anyone tell me how to fill A number for immigrant visa fee $165. I am putting it correctly but gives error on uscis/immigrant fee page . I am supposed to put any extra digit?

You can try to put a 0 after the A, before the rest of your number, if that will bring you up to the correct number of digits.

Oh yes? ! I too he had planned for January 14, 2016, and December 22, 2015 to reprogram ..... I'm glad also ..... Congratulations to you

Hihi, thank you!

Wow... Congrats!

Thank you Nkkystel! :D

Awesome. Congratulations. 10 days and counting.

Thank you!!! You can update me on the spreadsheet if you have the time :P

That´s awesome !

Congrats !

Thank you! :)

This is amazing... Congratulations!!! I have to try this! Did you have to wait for confirmation that the file was at embassy to email your request?

Ummm, well my case was already at the embassy since December 8th but we decided not to ask for an expedite cause we didn't have any solid reason to (like medical or any other emergency). But as the days passed, I felt that I'm just wasting my time waiting for 1 more month, since I have already everything ready for the interview AND my case was at the embassy. So, I sent the email... I was honest and just told them I really miss my hubby.

But, from what I know, you don't have to wait for the case to get at the embassy. You can ask for an expedite as soon as you get the CC. Hope this helps :) Good luck!

I thank God for all he has done. Grateful that all the visa journey is finally over. Compliment of the season to everyone. Had my interview today and it was awesome. The consular was friendly and we conversed and laughed like this was so unbelievable. She didn't go through any documents I brought and that was the most thrilling part. My questions were like a conversation than a question. All thanks to God. I was asked the ffg; So your husband is calling u? How did u met? For how long have you known him? When did you become romantically involved? So was it the first time he visited you got married? Where does he live? So when I said Michigan she asked me what my husband told me abt Michigan with a smile? And I said he said it was very cold she yes. That her parents lives in Michigan that I should get enough winter wears for this season and I laughed that my husband had bought many for me. We bought laughed. Finally she asked me what I do? And I told her a physical therapist but am presently not working because my dad passed away recently so she sounded sympathetic she was sorry to hear that. And she said oh, we need a physical therapist in the US cuz it high skilled and she told me she had a friend who is a physical therapist and I smiled. She smiled and said ok your Visa has been APPROVED and gave me two papers where to pick my visa and how to pay for the green card. So glad God saw us to the end. I pray everyone here is approved like I was. No1 deserves to be apart from their spouses. Season greeting ya all.

Sweetymcbeal,

A big congratulations to you. Happy you're done. What a good way to start the season. :) .

So had my interview today and got a 221(g) because they need an updated I-864 and police cert, and also another birth cert, because the one I sent was wrong.

They kept my passport though, which I'm hoping is a good thing?!

you do not have an I864 take with you? Why? bring them back quickly. ... I think it's good if it would have made your passport

The thing is that we did anticipate them needing a new I-864 and my husband sent me one on Dec 5th but it never got here on time. I guess because of the holidays and all. :( Just spoke to my mum and the I-864 is in my mailbox at home, so it was delivered today, two hours after the actual interview. That's been our luck with this whole visa process though. :( Now it takes another two weeks to get all the forms, then another two weeks for them to go through it and 10 days for the visa to issue. More waiting. :( I haven't seen my husband for almost 8 months now because of this visa and that's super hard when we're used to every three months. :(
