ASC/biometrics(fingerprint)appointment by phone or on the website. Appointments may be available Mon-Fri excluding American and Mexican holidays http://mexico.usembassy.gov/eng/holidays.htmlas well the second Wednesday and last Friday of every month ASC appointments are available Saturdays as well.

Most visa applicants in Mexico are required to visit an Applicant Service Center (ASC) prior to their consular section interview. The ASC staff collects the applicant's biometric information that will be reviewed by the consular section prior to the applicant's interview. The ASCs are located in buildings separate from the U.S. Embassy and Consulates. For more information go to

Yes he gets fingerprinted again.

Thanks dwheels76! I will be sure to have him schedule an appt asap. I definitely don't want anything to be delayed, 9 months without seeing my husband is long enough!

Hello again,

I'm sorry, I can't help myself from thinking about this interview, about the questions, if I have all the documents etc. Now there's something that is been bugging me all day long and decided that maybe I should ask here on the forum, even though I'm not sure if it's the right topic to be asking in..

So, I want to know if there is anyone here that had their interview already and they have used for Affidavit of Support ONLY assets? My husband and I haven't been working for a while now, but we submitted for financial documents only proof of assets (bank statements, stocks, previous salary statements etc). I want to mention that only with my husband's assets we are still 20x above the poverty line.

I was just wondering if anyone had issues at the interview because of this? I'm worried and I just want to know what to expect.

Thank you!

Greetings,

I haven't but I did a search and saw a couple hits, not sure if it applies to your situation.

Thank you. It is your case that gave me some concern.

Unfortunately, not knowing in the beginning of the process to send copies. I sent my original Divorce Decree with my I-130.

I will request another one so that my husband will have it at the interview.

Good Luck to you. I hope that everything is resolved quickly.

thank you wish you both good luck with interview

IonelaC thank you for your answer, that means I'll get the email confirmation for CC probably this Friday, and regarding my interview for I have seen on the spreadsheet for Mexico takes longer to assign an interview, I don't know if I should call NVC:(

Good luck on your interview IonelaC.

We got the same interview date as you at the Manila Embassy... Also we got the same checklist as you about revising the number of household members. Kind of weird?

Anyways, congrats to us!

Awesome! what time is your interview? :) Mine is 6:15am. Very early

Hi. We also received a checklist regarding our AOS. We placed our son in the "person immigrating with me". Our son is already a US citizen (by CRBA) but first time coming to the US, so we thought this is the correct thing to do. NVC said we need to remove him but don't need to send the corrected AOS form to NVC. I will bring it to the interview. Mine is January 20, 2016, 6:15am.

You were asked to revise the household member. When you reviewed your AOS household member, did you really find an error? Just asking coz I'm thinking can it be a false checklist?

Ampabst congrats!! you are lucky! I called NVC today and they told me That they haven't scheduled an interview date, that they'll contact me once I have an interview date schedule. I hope I don't have to wait so long:(

Thanks! I hope you don't have to wait long! We were rather surprised to get ours so quickly and for the interview to only be a month out! We both thought we would get a February interview. Rather excited we will be seeing each other much sooner than we thought!

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_information to track your courier waybill.

We're at 6:15 am as well. Hopefully they let us straight through! :)

Did you use a household member's income along with your husband's on your I-864? I think we mistakenly put "2" for the household size when it should've been "3" but I'm still not 100% sure if that's what happened... This checklist is making me nervous!
